I talk about myself enough, every.single.day, so I thought it was probably a good time to talk about a good friend of mine who runs an amazing paleo food blog. If you haven’t read his blog, you’ve been living under a rock. George, from Civilized Caveman, is not only an amazing cook AND baker, but also an amazing photographer. His food photography takes food porn to a whole new level. Every time I see a new picture of some kind of recipe he has created, I’m blown away by how delicious it looks. He’s got skills.
But not only do his recipes LOOK amazing, they TASTE unbelievable. Seriously. When I first started eating paleo, George’s website kept me eating paleo with his delicious treats and unbelievable meat recipes. He just knows how to make food taste amazing.
But the best thing of all about George is that he truly wants to help people. Yes, I’m getting gushy on all of you. But this man truly wants to make people’s lives better in any sort of way he can. Hence why I’m writing this post.
George has recently come out with a seriously fantastic e-book with over 200 recipes in it!! TWO HUNDRED! What in the hell?! That’s so many recipes. So much food. So many ideas. Imagine having 200 paleo recipes at your finger tips! Pretty bomb.
So this is what you gotta do. You gotta get his e-book. It’s seriously one of the best I’ve come across. AND with your e-book purchase, you get 4 bonuses along with it, including my favorite Pumpkin Thanksgiving E-Book. You digging pumpkin right now? Of course you are. It’s the best thing in the world during fall.
Now do it!! Check out George’s amazing blog and buy his fantastic Caveman Feast E-Book. You will not regret it. And you will be not only be supporting a wonderful paleo blog, but a wonderful man. A man who makes paleo easy, makes paleo delicious, and makes a paleo blog that bring happiness to so many people.
Thank you for all you do George. We all love you.

And a very good looking man to boot. Very. :)
They also continue to send you recipes that don’t make it to the site. It’s the gift that keeps giving!!! I’ve talked to George on a few occasions, and he has been extremely helpful with the 21 day sugar detox that I was on and had questions about. Can’t say enough about the guy.
I love you too JB. Thank you so much for all your kind words and best of all for being an amazing friend.
His recipes are AWESOME! I made his Triple B chili last week and I legit couldn’t stop eating it. So good! *another item added to my Christmas list*
I just found your blog, by reading the nomnom paleo one… you’re awesome!
Now, to go check out this George fella’s recipes…
I would totally get this if the book was a hard copy. :( Will it be sold in stores eventually??
Purchased. Also- welcome to Chicago (this weekend). It is a fantastic town!
Just downloaded it! If you order now, you get a special price. I think I only paid $25? Crap. My memory sucks. I literally just bought the damn thing. Sigh.
Thank you Gabe. Yes we mail out recipes to the list monthly. Gabby I am working on figuring out hard copies, will keep my website updated with news. And yes Lyndsay it is on sale for two more weeks
I’m waiting for a hard copy too–I like to curl up on the couch with my cookbooks (and I don’t have a laptop–talk about neolithic). Meanwhile, I subscribe to the newsletter and just print out the amazing recipes.
Thank so much for the intro to George! I have literally spent the last four hours on his blog loving all his words and recipes!
Have a great day!
Toodles,
Daisy
I have been unable to find if there are calorie and p/f/c information for the recipes. If not, is it something being planned for the hard copy George?
Oh cool, I didn’t know a hardcopy was in the works. I love my stack of paleo cookbooks :)
Rob I don’t do macronutrients for my recipes. Unfortunately there is just no easy way to go about it and it is too time consuming for us to do. The hard copy is being reserached and there are lots of doors not opening so we shall see.
Bought it! Already love it. So many options!!! Can’t wait to start baking!
Yes, George is a stallion. Who can cook like a mutha.. I love Civilized Caveman, it was one of the first Paleo sites I discovered.
Thanks for the tip! Purchased and trying to decide which one to try today. After your savory breakfast casserole, that is. :)
I have a question.. I am a 16 year old male high school student and as many of my kind are i am always hungry! when I’m home its not too hard to eat paleo and not be hungry but at school I’m always hungry cause i don’t know what paleo food items i can pack for lunch. i thought you might be able to help.
Hey Dan!! Ok so get yourself a nice little lunchbox cooler thing and start packing the same things you might eat at home. Lots of meat, some vegetables and fruit on the side, and pack yourself with lots of fat as well. So maybe some almond butter or coconut butter packets that are easy to eat on the go. Then pack some easy snacking protein like boiled eggs or lunch meat. Does that help? When I was 16 I ate cinnamon rolls so you have no idea how proud I am of you sticking with paleo. Go on with your bad self
Thanks so much that helps a lot! sorry for posting this everywhere but food (and crossfit) is all i think about and i’m pretty new to the paleo diet so i needed help. Also i love your recipes. They are better than cinnamon rolls haha.
you’re the best dan!
I have been eating paleo for about a month now and have been finding it hard to cook… thank you for all your help! I still have a problem I was wondering if you could help with… I am vegetarian (born and raised) and do not want to change that. Is there any way you could look at doing some bean recipes? Or include substitutes in your current recipes so that a vegetarian could make them as well? I understand some recipes obviously cannot be modified for a vegetarian, but I hope you know what I mean or can help me out. Even if you know of another site that has recipes that you think would be worth a try. Thank you so much for your inspiration, laughs, and wonderful recipes!
Beans or soy related products aren’t paleo BUT if you are still keeping those in your diet, definitely add some beans in there. Check out whole9life.com and they talk about vegetarians on paleo. If you could add some fish back in your diet, that would be very helpful and beneficial!
just got the book and am already making two things out of it for tonight thanks for the recommendation!
Julie, you recommended and so I bought – zero surprise there – lol. I am presently making the Bacon Bison Butternut Squash Chili on page 9 (absolutely delicious although it’s still in the final stage of simmering). In the crock pot, page 40, the Crock Pot Simple Short Ribs. My friend Roger asked me to bring him some. Thanks again Julie – waiting somewhat patiently for your book…;-)
Just downloaded the book. Looks like some great recipes! What a great blog. Thanks for the recommendation :)
His cookbook has been one of my best paleo-related purchases to date. EVERYTHING is delicious. Seriously EVERYTHING. My husband loves that he has recipes for “dude food” and I love that everything is easy to make. And the crockpot recipes? Don’t get me started. Love. Love. Love.
Now I’m gushing, but you and George are two of my favorite “paleo people” and I don’t know what I’d do without you guys…well, I’d be miserable, overweight, and suffering every day, that’s what. And sucking at my WODs. ;)
Not sure how my comment ended up here. But, I found George’s site through you Juli so thanks! I’m looking forward to making both of your recipes!
can the ebook be downloaded on a Kindle ?
