I'm wondering if you could share some advice/thoughts on the difference between doing crossfit and following a strength-training program in your home gym? My goal is fat loss and building lean muscle (and of course, am hoping to do it in the most efficient way possible so that I can see results sooner than later). I did indoor cycling for about a year 5-6x a week, absolutely loved it and felt in the best shape of my life. Then life happened and I've unfortunately gained about 15 pounds. I've been told that doing indoor cycling 5-6x a week again will not help me lose fat and that I need to incorporate weight-training. I'm considering joining a CF gym or following a weight-training program that I can do at my home gym -- I know you've tried so many things throughout your fitness journey and I'm wondering if you could provide any advice for me on what to do given my goals and your experiences?
