Man. Winter is getting the best of me. When it was -7 degrees out last week, I wasn’t sure how I was going to function. After living in Colorado for 28 years, my cold tolerance keeps getting lower and lower. I don’t snowboard or go to the mountains simply because I hate being cold. And traffic. Mountain traffic sucks. I even might not spend New Year’s Eve with my husband because he wants to go to the mountains and I want to bundle up in the warmth of the indoors. Staying warm is just way more fun than cold. Which is why I’ve been buying new winter jackets and sweaters weekly from Nordstrom. I need to be prepared for any day, no matter what the temperature is! Especially since our gym is FREEZING so getting through a workout or coaching can get uncomfortable at times.
When heading to Zoo Lights at the Denver Zoo the other night, I knew I needed to be warm and comfortable to be able to walk around in the cold and actually enjoy the night, so I threw on my latest pullover obsession. This comfy pullover is out of control soft. It’s like wearing an ultra plush blanket on your arms and it has extra long sleeves to help keep your wrists and hands ultra warm, no matter how cold it gets outside! I love it so much and it comes in 3 different colors which makes me tempted to buy 2 more. I plan on wearing this all weekend while we are in cold and windy Omaha!
More Warm & Cozy Pullovers:
Something else I’ve been loving lately are hats. I don’t know why I was never really into hats before, but I’m officially obsessed with them. Not only do they keep you SO much warmer, but they also hide your unwashed hair. No one will know that you don’t have your ish together! When I found this extra slouchy beanie, I bought it right away. So many hats are in between sizes so they sit funny right on top of your head, cone head style. But not this pom beanie! This was is slouchy, soft and super cozy! So your ears stay warm and your whole body can stay even warmer because of it!
Keep Those Little Ears Warm:
I love puffer jackets. I’ve invested in many over the years. BUT I’m not a huge fan of feeling like I’m drowning in a jacket. And I still want to have some shape even when it’s cold out. I’ve had my eye on this quilted jacket for months now because I’ve been looking for a form-fitting little “little puff” jacket. And I’m so glad I finally gave in. This jacket, that also comes in black, fits to your body, stretches on the sides, and zips up all the way to your chin so your neck can stay warm, even without a scarf! It’s the absolute best! And can you even with this lavender color?! It’s so unique for winter….and gets you excited for the warmer months of spring ahead!
