Brownie Frozen Yogurt

5 from 1 reviews

  • 1 box paleo brownie mix*
  • 32 ounces (4 cups) yogurt of choice**
  • 1/2 cup honey (or maple syrup, agave, etc.)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract

  1. Bake brownies according to the directions on the package and let cool. Once cool, cut the batch of brownies in half (you’ll use the other half for creating sundaes) and cut that half into tiny little pieces and chunks.
  2. While the brownies cool, whisk together yogurt, honey, vanilla extract, and almond extract until completely combined.
  3. Pour mixture into your ice cream maker then follow directions of the specific ice cream maker brand you own. This frozen yogurt will churn for anywhere between 15-25 minutes depending on the appliance. Once the frozen yogurt has reached a firm consistency, add the brownie pieces into the ice cream maker to churn once more until all is combined into the frozen yogurt.
  4. At this point you can either eat as is or add the frozen yogurt to a bread pan to freeze for the next few hours for a more firm texture.
  5. Before serving, place a couple brownie squares in a bowl then top with the brownie frozen yogurt on top!

*I used Simple Mills Brownie Mix, but you can use whatever brand you like best

**You can choose whatever yogurt you like best! I used an organic dairy greek yogurt, but you could use an almond milk greek yogurt, coconut yogurt, cashew yogurt, or any other preference! I just find the greek-style yogurt works best in the end!
