Chocolate Sea Salt Granola

Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
    2. In a large bowl, mix together oats, maple syrup, butter, cocoa powder, cinnamon, vanilla extract and salt until combined.
    3. Pour onto baking sheet, spread oats into a flat layer and press into the parchment paper. This will make it nice and chunky once cooled. Place in the oven to bake for 20 minutes, turn baking sheet, then bake for another 15 minutes. Once done baking, sprinkle the chocolate chunks and sea salt on top and toss slightly to mix the chocolate chunks into the granola then Let cool COMPLETELY on the baking sheet.
    4. Eat by itself or in a bowl of your milk of choice!

Notes

*You can use a different type of fat such as coconut oil, but butter is what makes it taste more like a snickerdoodle compared to other fats

**I prefer to use black cocoa powder for a darker color, but you can use whatever you have on hand
