Maple Sugar Chai Macadamia Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1 cup macadamia nuts
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup maple sugar, divided (you can also use coconut sugar)
  • 1 chai tea packet (spices dumped out of the tea packet)
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and grease the top with a bit of ghee or coconut oil.
  3. Place macadamia nuts on the baking sheet and toss in maple syrup, 2 tablespoons of maple sugar, and the spices from a tea packet.
  4. Bake for 4 minutes, toss then bake for 4 more minutes.
  5. Immediately place in bowl and toss with the last 2 tablespoon of maple sugar and a pinch of salt. Let cool then serve.
