Here’s my question: Why haven’t I been shopping on Backcountry my entire life? I was born and raised in Colorado and still call it my home, which means I live in workout clothes, boots, jackets and sweaters most of the year. And because of this, I shop in a million different places to find my favorite brands. But Backcountry takes away all the extra tabs in my browser because they have over a thousand brands to choose from. Alo…they have it. The North Face…they have it. Sorel…they have it. Hunter Boots…they have it. Do you see a trend here?
And Backcountry doesn’t mess around with their inventory. It is HUGE. They have so many different sizes and colors to choose from to help you put the perfect look together. Out here in Colorado, everything is done outdoors so you better come prepared with the right clothes. Like hiking in December in Boulder, which I did just a couple weeks ago. It may feel cozy down in town since it’s been unseasonably warm this year, but as soon as you start hiking, the weather can change pretty quickly. And that’s where a super warm vest comes in handy. This vest from The North Face is the coziest vest ever! It’s pretty much like wearing a down comforter all day. And what more could you ask for in the middle of winter??

Backcountry also has brands like Free People, Patagonia, and Carve Designs to help make a look your own. Whether you’re the hippie outdoorsman or the high maintenance hiker, Backcountry will have sweaters, jackets, jeans and everything in between to keep you feeling your best in the gym, outdoors or simply in your day-to-day look. I always thought Backcountry was for the person who loves camping…in a tent. No offense to people who love that, but that’s soooo not me. I want to stay warm, fashionable and comfortable whenever I’m outdoors and Backcountry has everything I would need for that. No need to camp in the dirt, Backcountry accepts “glampers” like me!

And right now, Backcountry has a Gifts Section to help you find the perfect gift before the holidays are here in less than 2 weeks! They Gifts Section includes gifts to stay warm, for the person who just likes to keep it casual, the fitness buff, or the skier or snowboarder in your life! And I seriously ALWAYS can find something I love on sale on Backcountry! Can you tell that I’m obsessed yet? After finding these incredibly comfortable Sorel Tall Riding Boots, I’m officially sold on Backcountry being my go-to site for any fall and winter items I’m looking for. No matter what I have on my agenda, I know they have me covered!

Hi Juli,
I follow your blog, podcasts, Instagram, etc and own your cookbook. My husband and I particularly love the jalapeno popper chicken chili and maple bacon pork loin. They’re staples in our house! He recently started an outdoor apparel rental company in the Denver area (top brands but at a fraction of the price to own- think Rent the Runway but for outdoor clothes). I think his company and your target audience align really well. I’ve noticed that you occasionally feature companies, like you did on this blog post. We’d be interested in getting the word out to the outdoor activity-lovers in your audience!
Thanks,
Emily
