If you haven’t noticed by my Fashion Fridays post, I’ll let you in on a little secret…I love shoes. I’m like any female out there. I love any kind of shoes. Flats, heels, wedges, sandals, and I especially love any sort of workout shoe. I live in cross training shoes since I’m either working in the kitchen, running errands or at the gym. So I shuffle through socks like they are going out of style. I seriously wear them until my toes are pushing through holes. Because of that, I slightly hate spending money on socks since I know I’m going to beat them up…until now. IMG_7328

I recently discovered Bombas socks. And my favorite part about Bombas (other than being the most comfortable socks I own) is that for every sock purchased, Bombas donates a pair to someone in need (like Toms, but for socks!). So instead of feeling guilty about buying socks that I’m going to beat up, I feel good about purchasing something that is giving back. Bombas has already donated over 500,000 socks to those in need since launching in Oct 2013, which is pretty amazing since the #1 request at homeless shelters is socks.

Bombas comes in both ankle and calf length socks for both men and women. And they have about a million colors, which makes life more fun. Who wants just white socks that fade and get dingy looking when you can wear neon pink, yellow or blue! And they are SO damn comfortable. They are so soft because of the long staple pima cotton they use and they have stay up technology which means they aren’t too high, but they don’t slip down. Never will you be the person walking around the mall, knowing that your sock has peeled off and is in a little uncomfortable ball inside your boots. No more!

Bombas has thought of everything after spending two years on research and development prior to launch. Of course, they come with the wonderful blister tab that cushion the ankle and make sure your achilles is never rubbing up against your shoes while running. Those blisters are by far the worst. But they also a honeycomb support system that gives you extra support in the arch and a y-stitched heel to create a natural cup around the heel to keep it in place. Who knew socks were so high tech!?

I’m so glad I came across Bombas because I will only ever buy their socks from here on out. They’re comfortable, their colorful, and they give back. Why buy any other socks when you can give back just by purchasing theirs?! And today, you can get 25% off your purchase of 4 pairs (or more) using the discount code PALEOMGGET25. (Applies to your first order) They also have a 100% happiness guarantee, so if you don’t think they are the most comfortable socks you’ve ever worn, they will refund your entire purchase. Really. So head to Bombas today, get your socks for 25% off and get to running, working out, or just feeling cozy in your house, all while giving back!

I just received my first pair of Bombas socks this week (unrelated to your post, but seriously tickled we were aligned!) and I have to concur: they are really, really the most comfortable pair of socks I’ve ever owned. I wore them first just walking around the office for a full day and then took them on a 6 mile run. They are so perfect. They made me realize my other socks were not great, so it’s almost a curse because I wouldn’t have known my other socks were terrible otherwise. So I guess…be warned, but also, just buy the damn things! It’s for TWO good causes: homeless shelters and your feet!

Yep, just spent $40 on socks.
I’m so excited for these I almost paid for the faster shipping, but then realized I needed to calm down.
Thanks for the discount! Never buying another brand again.
