Express Yourself: In AND Outside The Gym

As you may know, I live in workout clothes. Pajamas aren’t really socially acceptable, but workout clothes definitely are here in Colorado. And since I work from home…which keeps me in pajamas a lot of the time…fitness apparel keeps me feeling like I have my life together, even if I haven’t brushed my teeth by 1pm. Stop judging me. So I’m constantly looking for the best of the best when it comes to leggings, sports bras and tops that will hold up through my grease splatter, dog hair, and CrossFit daysondaysondays.

Express has become one of my favorite stores that I constantly find myself going back to. I absolutely love that they text me about sales and they have different items both in store and online, so I always have different items to look through. I’ve mentioned it many times before that their jeans are by far some of the best out there. They have THE BEST high waisted jeans that have lower pockets so they don’t look like mom jeans. And I found the absolute greatest sweatshirt dress that I’ve been wearing on repeat and even brought with me to San Francisco so I could wear it on my flight home. It’s magical. It’s the magical unicorn of sweatshirt dresses.

But wait, what’s most exciting about Express right now is their activewear…because that’s really all I want to wear. Their leggings are such amazing quality, not see through and hug everything just right! And their sports bras are supportive while still being edgy! I recently grabbed this grey pullover since fall is slowly creeping up and I love it. I’m all about having layers so I can throw this pullover over a sports bra and have a light jacket on top, that way everything is easy to peel off when workouts start to heat up!

This pullover is soft, flowy, and has mesh panels on the shoulders and down the back for a sleek look while still letting your skin breathe! And I love that the bottom of the pullover hugs right at the butt so it keeps you covered while still showing off what you’re working hard in the gym for!

But can we please talk about this sports bra?! I love that it’s a high neck so you don’t have to constantly pull it up over the girls when you’re jumping around. And the cut outs give it a little edge without messing with the structure: aka the girls stay in place!

Now for the best part of this whole outfit: the leggings! I absolutely love the rise on these leggings. They hit at the perfect spot so they don’t fall down and they shape you just right! You can even see them in action in my workout video from last week! They don’t budge whether you’re running, doing pistols, pull ups or even goblet squats! Not once did I have to pull them up or move them around during my workout! Miracles can happen!

Express has such a unique look to their leggings! This deep berry color is so hard to find but so perfect for fall! And these deep teal geo print leggings are another color that will definitely be rocked this fall! I will absolutely be adding those to my next shopping cart!
