Every time fall kicks in, I ALWAYS pull my camel coat out of the closet. I’ve had this coat for 3 years now and it has never let me down. I’ve worn it to a wedding, out to dinner with friends, paired with workout clothes (for some reason), and almost any outfit in between. This coat goes with everything and anything. It’s the perfect color to pair with bright colors or muted colors and it looks great with jeans orrrr with skirts! Sadly it’s hell old so I don’t have the exact one to link here today for you, but I have lots of similar coats to choose from. But first, let’s talk skirts!

Mini skirts pair perfectly in fall with a pair of over-the-knee boots and a casual camel coat. The outfit looks sleek, put together, and you can easily cool off or warm back up with a simple slip of the coat. An a-line high waisted skirt cinches in at the waist to give an hourglass look yet it won’t leave you feeling like you’re showing too much skin. My skirt in this post is a bit snug, but you could easily find a skirt that had plenty of room in the hips to ensure you felt comfortable all day long. In my opinion, staying away from jeans as long as possible in fall in a must. An absolute must.
