I have so many outfits for you this week!! One from a couple weekends ago when I was in Austin, one from a wedding I went to last weekend, and a couple from this week. It’s been so fun to actually dress up again. I had so many weeks of constant work that getting out of my pajamas or workout clothes just wasn’t going to happen. Makeup? Ah hells no. But I feel so much better about myself when I have an outfit on that makes me feel good and makeup on that makes me look better. I’m not going to act like one of those people that prefers to not have makeup on, that’s just lying to myself.

So let’s get to it!! It’s wedding season. And I love wedding season, mostly because it gives me an excuse to wear a dress that I wouldn’t normally wear. And of course, because love is great and all. This dress has been sitting in my closet for at least 8 months and I was SO PUMPED to finally pull it out and try it back on. I had no idea how it even looked, but thankfully I still loved it. I constantly talk about boutiques in town because I love them all so much, and Hailee Grace is one of those boutiques. If you’re ever in Denver, definitely check them out! PS I can’t wait to share the next wedding outfit I have planned. Another wedding next weekend!

LOOK! There’s two of me! This is an outfit I wore in Austin, TX for Paleof(x) when I did a book signing. The day before, I found this vest at a boutique in Austin called Luxe Apothetique and fell in love with it. I have a couple vests now and can’t wait to wear them through the summer. I think it’s a nice little touch instead of just a normal top. It gives it a little more flair and personality. Ya dig?

I wish these pictures did this top justice, but alas, it was raining all day and I had to take a picture inside. It’s seriously so adorable. Even though you can’t fully tell from the pictures, it’s a light purple color and it hangs just right. I mentioned last week that I was going to show you all kinds of different crop tops since I love them so much. THIS is another crop top that doesn’t show quite as much belly, but still shows a little skin. It’s so light and perfect for summer. I can’t wait to wear it in more outfits that you can see it a little better!

This is another top that I found in Austin at Lux Apothetique. I wish that store was here in Colorado because they had such funky stuff that I wouldn’t necessarily buy if I had just seen it online. But it fits perfect. And it’s one of those tops that you can dress up with a skirt or dress down with a pair of jeans or shorts. AND you can wear it all summer since it’s sheer and breathable. I just put a slight crop top/bra top underneath it and it was perfect! And PS, don’t miss out on this purse, it’s 50% off and will be gone soon!!

I loved these heels and clutch so much that I decided to sport them again. No but for real, these heels are freaking amazing. I can barely wear heels, my feet just hate them, but these are incredibly comfortable. AND they are on super sale right now. So I paired them with boyfriend jeans to play up these baggy pair of jeans. Especially since it’s hasn’t been hot here in Colorado, just dreary and cool. Can’t wait for summer outfits!

Oh, Hi! I’m Juli.

I’m a food hoarder. And a really bad dancer. If you don’t know me well, you will probably not understand my humor. Therefore, I apologize ahead of time. Thanks for listening to my ramblings of my ever-changing life and trusting my kitchen mishaps. Your trust in me is appreciated.

  1. I love all the styles this week but, Omg I love that dress! The pop of blue with the shoes just makes the outfit complete. So so cute!

  2. Please. Just stop. Babe alert overload!! Juli – you’re killin it, girl!!

… so on that note, please don’t stop. I was just being sarcastic and ultimately envious of this fantastic knack you have to put these fabulous outfits together!

  3. LOVE that dress and love love LOVE the heels!! How do they fit? I.e. are they true to size? I’m always between an 8 or 8.5 and I never know which one to order!

Your fashion sense is perfect. I always look forward to your fashion Friday posts. Keep em coming!

    1. So I almost always wear an 8 and when I got these, they felt a little tight BUT after a night wearing them, they have loosened up a good amount. and thank you for the sweet compliment!

  4. I love the idea of knotting the black shirt in the last outfit!!! Those “slinky” tops are everywhere right now but I don’t find them very flattering on me, definitely going to try the little knot!!

    Love your style!

  5. I’m usually so on the fence about boyfriend jeans but your styling on that outfit is perfection! Love all of it, especially that you’re sharing fun little boutiques to try out!

  6. Your outfits are PERFECT as always! 🙂 and your skin looks amazing!! I was wondering if you could to a post with an update with what products you’re using on your skin now, and maybe what makeup you use/like?! 🙂

  7. Ok hot damn. Those blue shoes. I immediately fell in love and had to have them – so I was super excited that you’re now linking to places to buy your clothes. BUT – I realized the link for the blue shoes took me to a slightly different pair on The shoes you’re wearing have a platform, but the shoes on 6pm do not. Very minor difference, but yours are cuter! So I did some sleuthing…the shoes are Ted Baker Nydea, and you can buy them on Amazon, on sale! No I don’t work for Amazon…I just love those damn shoes and want to help others find their loves as well. Keep up with the style posts, digging them!
