I’m unsure why people are still insisting on trying to tell me that they don’t like my fashion posts. I don’t like pictures of people’s children taking a dump on the potty for the first time, but I do not tell them that. I mean, they’re children will hate them for it later so what’s the point in posting my own frustration? But since these people’s days have been so rattled by my lululemon scarf, I kindly tell them that they are an idiot and should be consumed more in their own life than mine, but in a very kind, classy way. You know, because I’m so classy. But what upsets me the most, other than poopy children, is that people are never kind enough to write back. They voice their opinion but are suddenly startled when I lay the heat down. What does that even mean? Who knows. It just means they are the worst kind of humans. Stick up for yourselves, people. I just back handed your face, serve it back!
So I pretty much want to wear fake lashes every day of my life. Like, so bad. They are so great. And make my little beady animal eyes look much larger. It’s a miraculous lie. Below are my fake lashes. They say nice to meet you. This is an outfit I wore to Butterjoint in Pittsburgh after cooking too many recipes in a week. This dress is the most comfortable dress ever. And it’s longer so it’s more conservative for you conservative folk out there. I’m obviously not usually one of those people.
{ Red and White Shift Dress from Pink’s Boutique for $40 (this dress goes down to right above the knee and is completely long sleeve) | Black Vegan Leather Jacket found at Inspyre Boutique | Beige Booties from 2010 from TJ Maxx for $50 (ps one of my favorite pair of shoes of.all.time.) – here is a similar pair | Necklace from Pink’s Boutique for $20 }
This outfit was one of my casual outfits I wore in Pittsburgh when we decided to do a little night shopping in Monroeville. I think it was Monroeville. I really never know where I am out there, but I bought some workout clothes at the Gap! Love their stuff! Anywho, if you haven’t noticed, I REALLY love scarfs. Especially vinyasa scarfs. They are the best from fall into winter.
{ White Ashby Tank from Splits59 for $45 | Astrid Saturn Back Pullover from Splits59 for $86 | Vinyasa Scarf French Terry from Lululemon for $58 | Flying Monkey Jeans found at Inspyre Boutique | Dolce Vita leopard flats found at Nordstrom Rack }
This outfit means nothing to you, BUT TO ME it was a super exciting outfit because it was the outfit I was wearing on my way home back to Colorado. So it was a travel outfit. I wore a pair of booties hoping my suitcase would miraculously weigh less than 50 pounds. It still didn’t, it was 53 pounds. So I ended up carrying my straightener and curling iron around the airport and while flying. Such fun.
{ Beige and White Lace Top from Pink’s Boutique for $35 | Target Junior’s Camo Jacket for $40 | Flying Monkey Jeans Jeans from Insypre Boutique for $50 by – similar Flying Monkey pair | Taupe of Your Life Booties from Modcloth now $34 | Stone Drop Necklace in Black by Stitch and Stone for $20 | Scarf from Target for $15 }
Random outfit day in Pittsburgh! These pants are seriously the most comfortable ever. I really wish I could find them online for you, but I’ll keep looking because you deserve to find them. It’s hard to see in the pics but they kind of puff out in the hips which is a look I personally love. Not everyone loves making their hips look larger, but I kind of dig it. I’m weird like that.
{ Black Vegan Leather Jacket found at Inspyre Boutique | Leopard Print Scarf found at Inspyre Boutique | Light beige t-shirt from Buffalo Exchange for $10 | Blue Pants from Paper Doll Boutique in San Diego for $40 | Beige Booties: Target for $35.00 (last season –BUT I FOUND THEM HERE!) }
Last but not least, another casual and comfy fall outfit. Yet ANOTHER vinyasa scarf. Why am I so obsessed with scarfs? People keep asking me why I wear my vinyasa scarf. Here’s the deal: I have no idea. I wrap it, fluff it, pull at it and hope that it looks natural. There’s just no method to my madness.

You look great. Its fun to see outfit posts but your blog is so much more which is lovely. Thing is, the people who leave nasty comments says so much more about them than it ever does about you. Keep going x
Julie.. Would you say the inspire leather jacket is true to size? I want to order one but I’m torn between sizes..
I love your fashion posts, your blog and your attitude cracks me up. Some day when I’m grown up (I’m 52), I’m going to have a blog and say whatever I want too!
I’m over 50 too and also enjoy your fashion posts. If someone doesn’t like them why do they look at them?
Oh my god you’re effing hilarious. I wasn’t that into your blog until I realized how mean people were and how much of their crap you don’t take. Now I love it for the snark. The rest is good too ;). Thanks for not being a sell out. I wish I was a little more bold like you.
I totally dig your fashion Friday posts. You are foxy!
I live for Fridays so I can see what you wore. Love your style.
Love your fashion posts, keep em’ coming! Those blue pants rock.
I don’t care who doesn’t like your Fashion Friday posts because I LOVE them!!! Keep saying F you to those haters!!
Side note: I also hate seeing people’s children on the potty or with food in their face.
I love your fashion posts please keep them up! What I really like about them is your not wearing some $800 dollar jacket that no one could afford and you shop at normal places like Target and TJ Maxx. I look forward to them every Friday :).
I love fashion fridays! There’s something very real about a real person with real body issues putting on real clothes from real stores and sharing it with the world. Keep it up!
