HAPPY FRIDAY!! I am 100% excited about it being Friday because that means tomorrow starts my bachelorette weekend! Since my best friend knows me so well, I know she’s planned a weekend around food and music. I love her so damn much. We will be brunching, dancing, eating more, watching a cabaret show then who knows what else! It’s going to be wonderful!
But you know what started the weekend off already?? Date night last night! So get this. There have been a ton of commercials for Riverdance lately. And when I saw it, I told Brian I wanted to go sooooo bad, not really trying to plant the seed or anything. Well lately we have been switching off with planning date night every week. And this week, BRIAN GOT US RIVERDANCE TICKETS!!! So we made dinner and dirty martinis then headed to the show where we sat so close! We were definitely only part of the few middle aged people there. There were old then super young, nothing much in between. But it was seriously so much fun! My feet never stopped moving the entire time. That sh*t is seriously so so cool to watch. Every single one of the girls, who all weighed probably between 100-125 pounds have calves the size of my head. I had major envy going on for those legs! I can’t even imagine how you come to learn to dance like that and the time and energy put into it all. It was so freaking cool.
Ok, but back to the point: Fashion Fridays. The weather has been absolutely beautiful here in Colorado lately. We are spoiled and I actually wanted snow again because I bought snow and rain boots a month back and haven’t even used them yet! Anywho, because of this weather, I’ve been able to grab some spring attire and get excited for not only warmer months here, but hot days in Jamaica next month for our wedding! So excited to share Jamaica outfits with you!
So this shirt is my mullet shirt: party in the front, business in the back. Such a fun crop top idea. Yes, you definitely have to be comfortable with showing a little skin, but it’s a fun, unexpected shirt that’s perfect under a light jacket. I wore this to brunch and cannot wait to wear it again!
{ Top (I bought a small)| Similar Jacket (35% off) | Similar Jeans (same brand) | Necklace (50% off) | Booties | Similar Purse | Sunglasses }
THIS DRESS! I love it so damn much! It’s so comfortable, a great length and it’s even stretchy too! And get this, it’s on sale right now! This will be a great dress to wear in the springtime with some flats, booties or go the boot route like I did!
{ Dress (40% off – I bought a small) | Similar Boots | Purse | Similar Earrings | Sunglasses (sold out – see more below) }
Seriously lurrrrrving casual, comfy shirts right now. As the spring months come on, it’s so nice to have breathable shirts that don’t cling! This shirt is exactly that. You can throw it over workout clothes, put it over a tank top, or just wear a little bralette underneath!
{ Top (I bought a small) | Bralette (I bought a small) | Jeans | Sneakers – out of stock, here is the same brand but different color | Purse | Sunglasses }
Yayyyyyyyy dress season! It’s coming up quickly with Jamaica in our sights! I need to find a couple more dresses to wear out to dinner while in Jamaica, but I found these two that I’m so happy fit just right! The coral one is obviously a bit boobalicious, but the yellow one is a little more modest while still being snug! I cannot wait to wear both of them and now I’m back on the hunt to find more!
{ Coral Dress (I bought this dress in a Small) | Yellow Dress (I bought this dress in a size 4) | Pumps (true to size)}
Happy shopping and see you next week for short ribs, a hash and samoa brownies!
You look so great in both of those Mod Cloth dresses. I just love that site! Also, how CUTE are those pumps?! I love the t-strap. I bet you’ll get a lot of use out of them.
P.S. I cannot wait for your samoa brownies recipe..!!
So, this might be a dumb question, but I’m an engineer who doesn’t get fashion 😛
I love those bralettes at Express, but I’ve tried them on and they don’t seem to offer much support. Do you wear anything else underneath them, or just go with it?
i wear a sticky bra underneath! it clasps together in the front then the bralette helps with support underneath!
Do you have a particular brand of sticky-bra you prefer? Think they’d work for larger D-cup breasts? Thanks!
You look GORGEOUS! Happy wedding, Juli!
Thanks!
Super super cute dresses!!
I want those little sneakers and the shades! So cute!
Your dresses are amazing!
