PaleOMG Fashion
Woo hoo!! I’m back to my normal weekly posts. That means Fashion Fridays are back!! I think I took two weeks off of Fashion Fridays because of the holidays and then because of trolls. Sometimes you just need a mini vacation. And since I didn’t have any actual vacation planned, not getting on my computer for a week was the best kind of vacation I could get. So let’s get to it!
This outfit was incredibly comfortable. I want to hang out in this sweater every single day. And I would, if I didn’t have a dog that shed EVERYWHERE. I always swore to myself that I would never have a dog that shed. But then I fell in love with Jackson so I just don’t care. I wish I could hire a cleaning person once a week that would clean all of his fur off the couch. And off my clothes. Those little hair get stuck so deep in my clothes that tape does nothing. That cute little bastard. He knows I’m typing about him because he’s kissing me right now. Smart little dude.
{ Rock Star Jeans from Old Navy for $32 | Sidney Sole Society Bootie for $90 | Lulu’s Black Zip Up Sweater for $35 | Red Infinity Scarf from Lulu’s (now sold out) similar one here and here | MZ Wallace Julie Bag – now on sale for $277}
I wore this outfit out for a girls night turned into bar night the other week. My boyfriend and all of his friends (meaning like 40 guys – how do guys have so many friends?) get together to choose secret santas every year. That means they drink and celebrate. So us girls, not 40 of them, got together for dinner and shopping then met up with them after. They are usually a mess because they are 5 deep into Jager or some other terrible drink. I felt great!
{ Grey Flying Monkey Skinny Jeans from Hailee Grace Boutique for $54 – similar pair | Simple Black Shirt tied at waist – here is a similar one | Taupe Leather Jacket bought last year from Hope’s for $70 – similar now for $59 | Dark Red Infinity Scarf from Target for $17 | Black Stud Booties from Steve Madden (last season) – similar pair here and here }
Colorado has been unusually warm this fall/winter. We had one sh*tty snow storm and now it’s just been slightly cold some days. This day was not one of them. So I celebrated by wearing a dress with leg warmers. I bought these leg warmers years ago thinking I would wear them, then never did. But obviously my brain knew they would someday come in handy because I love them with these boots. My boyfriend will question some of my purchases, but I always wear them!
{ Sleeveless White Lace Dress from Inspyre Boutique for $42 – similar one here and here | Infinity Scarf from Target last year – similar here and here | Jacket from Francesca’s for $50 a while ago – similar one here | Brown Leather Boots from True Love Shoes a couple years ago for $50 | Grey Leg Warmers from Target – similar pair here }
OMGthistopthough. I’m truly in love with this top. I found it at one of my favorite boutiques on the sale rack and couldn’t believe someone hadn’t snagged it before me. This top is so feminine and adorable, I couldn’t resist. But I also had no idea what I would wear it with. So so glad I picked it up because it was perfect for my book signing with Brittany Angell of Every Last Crumb, and Diane Sanfilippo, Caitlin Weeks, and Nabil Boumar of Mediterranean Paleo Cooking. We had around 250 people show up to our signing!! So so cool! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us!! Back to the shirt though, I wore it with a black lace bra underneath and thankfully I didn’t look like a lady of the night!
{ Red Lace Crop Top from Hailee Grace Boutique for $25 – similar one here | High Waisted Midi Skirt from Express – similar one here | Turquoise Fold Over Clutch from Lulu’s – similar one in mint here | Anchor Me Bracelet | Black pumps by Vince Camuto for $70 from DSW | Silver Coin Statement Necklace from World Market for $37 }

Love that red infinity scarf and can’t believe it’s from target! Also, how is your hair always perfectly wavy?

When I first saw that last outfit on Instagram, I was not a huge fan. But now, I am freaking loving it! I love the combo and the perfect proportions of the crop and midi skirt! Keep up all the great blog work – you are so inspiring!
