I planned this entire outfit around this one wonderful skirt. It’s seriously perfection. It’s so comfortable, so flattering, and such a cool color. Oh, and it’s from a consignment shop is it’s over 50% off of it’s original price. Score!
A couple weeks back I went shopping with Liz of Mile High Style who is a personal stylist. I had never worked with a stylist before but I met her and we instantly clicked. She’s fantastic, perky, and loves her dogs even more than I love mine…if that’s possible. Anywho, I hadn’t ever worked with a stylist before, I honestly love trying to put outfits together and accessorize them, but I decided it would be a fun thing to try. Especially since she works out of Boulder so I would be able to head to the shops up north.
Our first stop in Boulder was absolutely wonderful. We stopped in at Common Threads, a consignment shop, to look for some good deals on new outfits. Right away she found this skirt for me. I wasn’t sure if it was shorts or a skirt, but I really didn’t care. It fit perfectly. And the color is like a puke green, but way cooler. Just gotta be careful what sunlight you stand in. It will be a wonderful outfit to pair with some black stockings and boots come fall!
Once I paired this skirt with an eversoscaryplunging tank with yellow and grey embellishments, all I had to do was accessorize with some white and gold jewelry, including my favorite new necklace from Inspyre Boutique and a pair of comfortable beige wedges. Boom. An outfit.
Oh…and some orangy-red lipstick too. How do people keep lipstick from coming off after 10 minutes? Makes no sense.

I love your blog!!! I’d be honored if you’d check out mine!
Hmm….I put it under website but it didn’t work. http://bottlesandbeasts.wordpress.com
Love your sense of style. Just picked up your book in Costco today. Love the recipes. I did not think they could be better than the ones on your blog. But I am wrong. The book is great. I love to bake gluten free. First up Vanilla White Peach Muffins. I hope it works with dried apricots. I could not find dried peaches.
Thank you
You are so gorgeous and so fun.
What a great inspiration you are to eat well and take care of the body to be smoking hot and healthy. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
