Oh laaaaawwwd Fashion Fridays is just the best. I think I say that every Friday. No wait, I totally say that every Friday. It’s just so fun! Doing these posts makes me try more of my clothes on that I have just sitting in my closet and makes me put outfits together that I never would have thought of in the first place! It’s just so much fun. And what makes it even more fun is that I have Bill and Hayley to take some pictures of me instead of me taking awkward selfies. It’s just way easier that way. I need to find someone unemployed at home to take pictures for me. Any takers? No. Thought so.
This outfit is what I wore on my way to Pittsburgh. Casual and comfortable for the flight. And white after Labor Day? F*ck yeah. When people say you can’t do something, I say f*ck it, I can do whatever I damn please. Then I do it! There are no rules in a life you create for yourself. Like that little impromptu pick-me-up I just gave ya there? Good.
{ Black flowy tank from Pink’s Boutique for $25.00| Target Junior’s Camo Jacket for $40 | Leopard Print Scarf found at Inspyre Boutique | STS Blue Destroyed Slim Boyfriend Jeans, in white for $54 in the Juniors of Nordstrom | Tom’s Black Canvas Classics for $48 }
This was an outfit I used for a photo shoot on a very special day. Since I’m working on a special project out here, there was one day that was one of the most important days of all so I got all dressed up! So fun. I bought this 3/4 sleeve sweater dress just last week at Pink’s Boutique for a winter dress to wear with stocking, but it was perfect weather out that day to wear without instead. Short little thing but the most comfy dress ever. It’s crazy soft! Someone said this dress was hideous. I told them to suck a d.
{ Symphony Grey Swing Dress for $37 | Black Vegan Leather Jacket found at Inspyre Boutique | Geometric Print Infinity Scarf for $15 from Target | Silver leaf necklace from World Market for $15 | Taupe of Your Game Bootie from Modcloth now for $35 }
This outfit was a casual day. We had some grocery shopping to do to keep working on my project, so I just put on something comfy. And since I hadn’t washed my hair in prooooobably 4 days, I had to put it up in a messy bun. A real messy bun. Not the greatest hairstyle for me, but it’ll do when I don’t have a hat. Hats are one of the greatest inventions ever. Along with this camo jacket.
{ Black 3/4 length shirt from Inspyre Boutique for $30 | Lululemon French Terry Vinyasa Scarf for $58 | Jeans from Insypre Boutique for $50 by Flying Monkey Jeans – similar Flying Monkey pair | Target Junior’s Camo Jacket for $40 | Tom’s Black Canvas Classics for $48 }
I don’t usually hang out by pools in Pittsburgh in the fall, but this trip I did! I mean, how can you not hang out next to a gorgeous pool in leather pants? It would make no sense if you didn’t. In reality, I was sweating everywhere. It was intense.
{ Riveting Rendition Blazer from Modcloth for $60 – now sold out which is the lamest, so here is a sweet one | Miranda Frye Solar Necklace for $76.00 | Trouve Faux Leather Front Leggings for $45 from Nordstrom (similar pair here) | Suede Pointed Heels from Lulu’s for $27 – here is a similar pair}
See you next Friday!

Love both your scarves! I have a thing for the Lululemon ones especially but they are so dang expensive. Great all around style. Fall is the best season for food and fashion I think.
Adorable, adorable!
BTW — My head explodes when I hear that people take the time to comment that they think something is ugly. Who ARE these people? It’s the oddest thing I’ve ever heard.
Agreed! Psychos
You look gorgeous! And you always have the most amazing shoes. Someone else mentioned this but I love how you give links to certain pieces and they’re actually affordable! I definitely need to expand my wardrobe and your fashion Friday posts are giving me great ideas 🙂
So I love your food and workout posts, but these Fashion Friday posts are SO AWESOME! When I read them, I think: I want to be friends with Juli! And I also think: anyone who comments that a dress is a shirt is the WORST! Happy Friday.
Amazeballs and thank you. That is all.
I’m curious when you’re testing out recipes in Pittsburg (especially baked goods), do you have to do high altitude adjustments when you get back to Denver? I’m in Colorado too and live at 6500′. Just curious if you’ve noticed differences in the results. I realize this comment has nothing to do with fashion, but I didn’t know where else to leave it 🙂
i do the recipes both places, in denver and pittsburgh and nothing has been different so far!
bahaha, you told them to suck a d. That is great! I love your clothes and food and puppy!
Let me tell you… I’m not usually a big fan of camo, but I LOVE that jacket! Such a cute fit and perfect for fall 🙂 You are a hottie.
I love that you smile in every photo You look fantastic!
Absolutely love your hair in the bun! You look adorable!
All the pics do!
