Finding your own style can be hard. With bodies constantly changing, our personalities evolving, and lives moving all over the place, it’s sometimes difficult to find what style suits you in that moment. But what always stays in style no matter the changes in our lives, is well fitting clothes. I’ve been shopping at Express for years now because no matter how my body changes or where my style takes me, I can always find clothes that fit me and make me comfortable and confident. So when Express reached out and asked me to come up with my own look showing off my own dress code, I was so excited to share a look that I would wear while traveling, or out to dinner, or to coffee with friends. At Express, I was able to find my style and accentuate my dress code in my favorite way!

The main reason I go to Express is JEANS. Their jeans are truly amazing. They stretch, they conform to your legs and butt, and they have mid and high-rise jeans that keep everything in place, even when bending over. No goodies are coming out when you have their jeans on! And they don’t get baggy over time. They keep their shape so even after I wore these crop ankle skinny jeans while traveling to Dallas and all throughout the day, I was still able to wear them again without them getting loose or wrinkled! They are seriously so damn comfortable!

The next item I picked up at Express was this lightweight twill military jacket. Since Colorado’s weather is complete insanity during spring and temperatures range every single day, jackets like this one are perfect for keeping with you no matter where you go! I love this one since it doesn’t have a hood and it cinches around the waist to give you a little more shape!

But my favorite part of this entire outfit is absolutely this blush cutout bodysuit. It also comes in white, baby blue and black so you can dress up any outfit with this simple thong bodysuit. I love bodysuits so much because they are perfect for layering while still showing off your waistline. Bodysuits look amazing with high waisted skirts (you can see how I dressed up the white bodysuit here), with jeans and a light jacket on top, or dressed up with a pair of high waisted slacks. When you’re wearing a bodysuit, it gives you the allusion of a tightly tucked shirt, without all the extra material tucked into your pants. I’ve posted so many bodysuits in the past couple years because they really accentuate your shape in an amazing way!

Finding your own style and creating your own dress code is all about finding clothes that fit well and make you feel confident. The main reason I even got into fashion and dressing up is because I wanted to become a more confident person and clothing really helped me get there. If you haven’t found that yet, don’t give up! Keep trying new looks, find those perfect jeans that make you feel amazing, and continue to evolve with your ever-changing life. Confidence comes from within – now go show it off by creating your own dress code!

Loveee this outfit! Especially jeans that don’t turn into baggy butt after a couple of wears.

Bodysuits are only amazing when one has your type of body – flat stomach and no rolls. Sadly I can’t wear a body suit because of too much spillage. My own fault … damn you stress / carbs / sweets!
    Love the jacket though

Love your looks!! You’re the reason I’ve re-discovered my love of Express. Damn those jeans are the best!!

I was wondering if you could do a post on shorts? It’s starting to get hot in the South and this year my junk in the trunk has outgrown my shorts! (Love Crossfit for the bubble butt but my shorts don’t lol). Where are shorts that fit girls with muscular butts/thighs? Thanks!
