It’s a very special Sunday today because I have an exciting offer for PaleOMG readers that love a delicious piece of salmon! And not just any salmon, but wild-caught salmon from the pristine waters of Bristol Bay, Alaska. No farm-raised salmon in your kitchen! ButcherBox has partnered with fishermen who uphold strict fishing and handling practices to guarantee an unprecedented level of quality, which guarantees unblemished, rich-tasting, firm flesh – wild salmon at its absolute best!

We talk so much about grass-fed, grass-finished, antibiotic and hormone-free, pasture-raised beef, chicken and pork, but it’s hard to know what to look for when it comes to fish, especially when we are at the grocery store. But wild-caught is so important when it comes to your choice in salmon. When you’re purchasing farm-raised salmon, you’re often exposing yourself to contamination that is caused from the crowded conditions the salmon is raised in. Also, farmed salmon often contains toxic chemicals and dyes which they use to color the salmon the same color as what you would find in wild caught.

Since ButcherBox has worked hard to bring their customers the best quality beef, chicken and pork that is humanely raised and never given antibiotics or hormones, they decided to add sockeye salmon to their boxes for a limited time! So here’s the deal – Order your first ButcherBox today and you’ll receive two pounds of wild caught sockeye salmon ABSOLUTELY FREE in your first box! This wild salmon comes from the pristine waters of Bristol Bay, Alaska which can only be fished once a year, so supplies are limited! Click here to order your first box today to not only receive your free salmon, but to have the best quality beef, chicken and pork delivered right to your doorstep! Supplies are limited so be sure to act fast!

Free Alaskan Salmon but Butcherbox doesn’t ship to Alaska?! Doesn’t make any sense to me. Hopefully they will someday

I thought this would be so awesome. I made one butcherbox order and it was great, but I bulk order my beef and pork from the local farm. I was hoping for a fish/chicken option from butcherbox, with the ability to supplement in between bulk orders. Darn…that is not the case. If you have any influence, please tell them that would be a popular option for many customers!
