It’s the weekend before Thanksgiving…you know what that means? It means life is about to fly by in a blink of an eye. If you’re like most out there, you probably have a couple Thanksgiving parties to get to. Then once December hits, you’ll have plenty of Christmas parties to attend. Then New Years, and once 2020 hits, you can finally breathe. The holidays fly by so quickly that you barely have time to really cherish those moments you had with those special people in your life. Especially if you’re spending much of that downtime at the mall looking for holiday outfits, all while thinking up presents to get those people along the way. That’s where Nordstrom comes in handy and has your back!
Life is way too busy around the holidays to wander the mall looking for the perfect holiday look for your work party. Who has time for that?! With work, kids, family drama, sports, school, daycare, and everything else in between, getting to the mall will most likely be at the bottom of the list. I don’t even have kids and I don’t have time for that. And Nordstrom knows that, which is why they created their ‘Buy Online & Pick Up in Store’ option. I picked this entire outfit with that option and had it delivered to my car curbside so I could create instagram posts while I waited for the outfit to be delivered. No minute was lost or spared to grab this outfit. Nordstrom makes it super easy to get the outfit your need in hardly anytime, especially on those days where time is huge limiting factor. Here’s all you have to do –
- Go to Nordstrom.com
- Start searching whatever you are looking for – such as midi skirts – then at the top, right underneath what you are searching, you can set the nearest location to you then click ON (I always set it at the Cherry Creek Mall location because that is only a couple miles away from our house!)
- Then once that location button is turned on, you’ll be able to shop all the items in the store and click ‘Buy & Pick Up in Store’
- You’ll receive an email within hours once that order is filled then all you have to do is head to the store to pick it up! And if you are a Nordstrom member, who is spending between up to $499/year, you’ll be able to get curbside pickup, so you don’t even have to leave your car! I imagine this to be a lifesaver when you have kids, especially around the holidays!
And one of my favorite parts about Nordstrom is that you can find clothes and shoes for every price point. Whether you’re looking to save money when it comes to your own looks this year so you can spend more on your loved ones or you’re ready to go all out, Nordstrom has a price point for everyone! And you can literally find everything you need in one store! Whenever I go to the mall, I normally don’t even leave the Nordstrom store because they have it all. And that means that while you’re picking up your holiday look for your upcoming party, you can also grab a few gifts along the way! They even have a holiday gift guide tab to inspire you to get creative with your loved ones gifts this year!
I’ve never been big into getting retailer credit cards, but Nordstrom has the best by far. They make sure that their Nordy cardholders get all the latest and greatest news, status and points from every purchase, and early access to special events. And they always have events coming up to help you save as much money as possible! Just a handful of their upcoming events include –

When I started searching for this holiday look online, I just started glancing through some of my favorite brands like Leith, Ted Baker, and Sanctuary to combine the look with some lower and higher price points. I was able to find the most beautiful pleated midi skirt for under $100 and pair it with an affordable balloon sleeve sweater. Then I took the look up a notch with a show stopping snakeskin belt and burgundy leopard print pumps. It was super easy to put this outfit together in about 15 minutes then all I had to do was drive to the mall the next day to pick it up in minutes!
