Instagram Outfit Round-Up

Hello and happy Friday!! We are 2 weeks into the new year and I’m feeling it! Sure, I had a bit of a bad attitude yesterday based off some work stuff, but other than that, I’m one happy little camper! This weekend I have a baby shower for a friend who doesn’t love babies, so it’s going to actually be a fun one. We are going to eat a crap ton of food and just hang out. It’s not going to feel like a regular baby shower and that’s how it should be! I always told my husband that if we ended up having a baby, the last thing I ever wanted was a shower. Because almost all my experience at previous ones have been terrible. He’s not down for that. He thinks gifts are a must when it comes to a baby. I would prefer people to just give boat loads of cash instead of baby wipes since having a child is horrendously expensive. Anywho, the shower is going to be a blast, I plan to catch up on the Bachelor, then eat at my favorite restaurants. Weekends are the best.

Now let’s do a quick recap of some of the outfits I’ve been sporting around town lately! Taking photos in public places is so fun…not embarrassing at all. First up is this red dress that I’M IN LOOOOOOVE WITH! If you want to feel like a million bucks, this dress will do it. It’s made from a slightly thicker material that still stretches with every curve. It’s stunning. It’s definitely a bit more expensive that I normally go with my clothes, but this dress is well worth it! I plan to wear this dress for years to come!

I wore this outfit last month to a sushi date night with friends! I was wearing heels and the chef instructed the women who were wearing heels to take them off since they would be uncomfortable after 2 hours of standing…I was the only person who did as instructed. Next time we do a sushi date night, I plan to eat beforehand. I was shoveling fistfuls of rice into my face whenever the chef turned his head. They kept having to refill my bowl. Anywho, sadly this sweater is sold out but I found something similar with these balloon sleeves that I love so much!

We’ve had surprisingly nice weather here in Colorado lately! Not nice enough to actually melt the snow in all areas, but nice enough to wear a dress out in public. And if you’re as sick of jeans as I am, this is the perfect way to mix up your outfit without freezing your balls off. And if it’s extra cold where you are, add a pair of black tights and you’ll be golden! And FYI, these boots are 20% off right now and I can’t recommend them enough! I feel like I wore this outfit 20 years ago, but I think it was just in December. This top is a few years old, so it’s not available. But I found a super similar one in black that you might like, if you like that style! And these wedge sneakers are BY FAR some of my favorite sneakers I’ve ever purchased. I have them in two colors and I plan to buy more. They make your legs look longer and you can wear them all day long!!

In the neighborhood over from us, there are all these gigantic grand houses. Whenever I walk Jackson, I wonder where TF I am. So now I take outfit photos in front of them and people are probably watching their ring doorbells and wondering WTF is going on outside of their house. Sorry, people. You bought a super nice house, what do you expect from me?! Anywho, if you want jeans that make you feel like a stealthy b*tch, I can’t recommend them enough. I have been wearing them almost every single day! They are the best!

I’m honestly embarrassed with what’s going on in the background of this photo. We have this huge wall that needs to be decorated, but I’m waiting on our interior designer to come up with concrete ideas before we purchase anything. So now we have just random sh*t everywhere. Engagement photos, photos of the beach, a subwoofer, computer cords. My style is a thing of beauty.

Ok, if you do one thing today – BUY THIS HOODIE! It’s my absolute favorite hoodie I’ve ever purchased. It feels like it’s lined with fleece, it’s stretchy, and it’s only $35. Best $35 I’ve ever spent. You’ll be seeing me in this hoodie every single day from now on.

I love me a wide leg pant or a flare jean. Not only are they way more comfortable, but I think they are so flattering! They make legs look so long! These pants come in 4 different colors and they stretch a ton including around the waist! They are pretty much the best!

I’ve been testing out some new brands like apparel I find on Amazon and Good American jeans and I’m digging both. I still like Express and Madewell jeans a little more, but these were still pretty great, too! And this Amazon find is only $20 and it comes a sh*t ton of different colors!

Another must have from these outfits is this pair of jeans. Whenever I don’t know what to wear, I put these on. They are the absolute best. And this sweater is super old, but I found a similar color sweater that’s really affordable!

Another awesome Amazon find! This dress comes in a ton of different colors and it’s light enough to wear in the warmer spring months! Just be careful if it’s windy outside. I gave the guy at the front desk of this building quite a show as we finished snapping these photos.

If I’m being honest, I live in pajamas. My SIL mentioned yesterday that she’s seen me in these pajamas 4 days in a row and she wondered if I ever changed out of them in those 4 days. Answer – no. But they are so soft and comfortable! And right now they are 50% off so I should probably purchase them in every color.
