I may be in a tropical paradise in the Caribbean right now, but I still know fall is just around the corner and it will be here in absolutely no time at all. And I honestly love that because fall is by far my favorite season of all! Not only is it absolutely stunning in Colorado as the leaves on the aspens begin to change, but the weather is perfect. Warm in the day, little chill at night. It makes finding the perfect outfit a little hard at times, so I’m here to ease you into it!
At Abercrombie & Fitch, you can find pieces that are perfect for summer while stocking up on outfits that make fall a little more exciting. It’s all about a layering effect. Just simply find the piece that you can wear any time that is perfect for warm weather and find the layer to go on top that keeps you feeling comfortable into the breezy chill of night.
I’m trying to make any day a little simpler when it comes to your daily attire, so I’ve found some looks that would be great for a day at the office, on a casual Friday or whenever you’re out with friends. No matter the day, I have a layer for you!

I styled my layers for a Sunday Funday filled with friends, laughter…and ice cream. Well, a white dress and a chocolate ice cream cone on a hot day aren’t always the best team, but I made it work. This eyelet cutout dress is so comfortable. It fits snug around the waist then a-lines out to gives you a fun, flirty look. And because of this, it looks a little shorter than it actually is so it gives your legs an extra long look. And for layering piece, I snagged this adorable blue plaid button down shirt that you can wear by itself in fall with a little tuck action into your jeans. OR, you can throw it on top of a dress like I did and tie it around the waist to give the body a little shape while staying warm as it cools down into night!
With these two pieces, you can make endless looks for summer into fall and feel amazing throughout the transition. And Abercrombie & Fitch has many other looks right now to help you feel your best, no matter the season. Bundle up in a new down coat, show off a little shoulder, or simply wear a comfortable pair of high waisted jeans!

Hello!
Super off topic question – I’d like to follow you on bloglovin but I can’t find your blog on there! Help! It used to be available and I love reading your posts, but recently it disappeared.
Please let me know if I’m just a moron who can’t see it!
Kthx!
Meg
i’m not on bloglovin anymore (had a ton of issues with it) but you can find all my updated posts on my blog here anytime!
With each picture, I was waiting for you to take a bite out of that damn ice cream! ahhahahaha 😀 all while thinking – she is NOT going to eat! I wish this had emojis – anyway, super cute series of photos. I think I am a tad too old for A+F, but it’s still cute!
Like..at what age should we stop wearing certain brands? I am 30s..maybe “worry” about the style as opposed to the brand? I dunno!
if this wasn’t A+F, would you feel like you were too old for it? i think A+F is trying to show people that their apparel is for many ages out there, me included. i’m almost 30 and i can see myself wearing this dress and this button up for many more years. and all the items that i chose to feature in this post don’t feel too young for me. so i think it’s just subjective depending on your style! i would worry about an age if something makes you feel good.
I went to their website – nothing at all what I remember it being back in the day! Looks totally adult – I would actually check them out next time I went to the mall! Saw some cute wrap dresses on the site –
And you’re right – your featured items are age appropriate – looks like everything on the site is age appropriate, to be honest.
totally!! they’ve really changed their demographic market and make really appealing clothes for an “older” generation! i’m actually heading to A+F this weekend to do a little more shopping since I loved the pieces I bought for this post so much!
