I am 19 weeks pregnant today and while the bump is growing, it’s still a bit in an awkward stage. If I’m in workout clothes, it’s pretty obvious I have something going on down there. But if I’m in regular clothes, I just look bloated. So I’m constantly looking for ways that will not only work for me now, but after I give birth, as well. Not all these outfits below cover those bases, but they are working for me now and I’m very thankful for that!

Below is an outfit I really had no clue if it would fit or not when I put it on the other day…but it did! The waistband is extremely stretchy and the ribbed material makes it so comfortable to wear all day long. And since my weight has changed in my hips, I didn’t know if I would feel comfortable in a pattern like this, but the leggings are so comfortable and really flattering!

This dress is one of my favorites I’ve found so far! It’s a maternity dress, but I feel like anyone could wear it. Since it’s ruched in the front near the buttons, it can really stretch as the bump grows and it will be super comfortable to wear once I give birth. Plus the length is longer in the back so you don’t have to worry about showing to much skin back there.

I don’t normally wear midi or maxi dresses like this one because I don’t find them super flattering for my body type, but I thought this would be a really cute dress to wear in spring with a jacket on top when temperatures aren’t quite warm enough for a short dress. I think this one will be super cute paired with some wedges and it will definitely expand with the bump. And if red isn’t your favorite color, it comes in a few others, as well! And this dress isn’t just for pregnant bellies, it’s for postpartum, meaning anyone.

Here is another pair of leggings I’m pumped still fit as my body evolves! Going through pregnancy has really shown me the leggings that will last and the ones I will continue to buy long after birth. These are so insanely soft, stretchy, and they come in a bunch of different colors. The bra only has a few sizes and colors left, but the leggings are fully stocked!

Another dress favorite! This dress comes with shoulder straps that tie so you can decide where you want the dress to sit, especially if your boobs begin to change a bit. I love this one so much and I can’t wait for the bump to push out farther in it. This dress is lightweight, flowy, and I’ll definitely be packing it with me to Arizona next week!

Speaking of travel, this was an outfit I wore while in California last week, while walking around Santa Barbara. The t-shirt is super old so I tried to find something as similar as possible, but the star of this show are the jeans. These jeans are complete life savers when it comes to stretchiness around the waist. I cannot fit into ANY of my jeans anymore and I was really fearing trying on jeans that would fit well enough around the waist that I was actually comfortable, while still fitting tight enough around the legs. These are it! They are truly the best and the jeans I grab most days now.

Another dress favorite! Anyone could wear this dress. It’s so stinking cute and incredibly flattering. It comes in three different pretty colors, but I liked the black and white to pair with some sneakers and a leather jacket during cooler temperatures. I’ll also be packing this look to Arizona with me!

Since I’m finally feeling better and able to work again without needing to throw up or fall asleep, I made my way to a coffee shop the other day to bust out some blog posts. And since these jeans are my favorite and I can wear them all day without getting uncomfortable, I threw them on with a chambray top. I love button downs like this right now because you can tuck them in a bit, while letting some of the shirt hang over, to create a bit of an optical illusion. Plus, if you pair a jacket with it that stick out, no one can see the profile of you and your changing belly. I don’t personally care about this, but I know some people keep their pregnancy a secret for a while, so this tip may work for them!

And errrmerrrrgerd I’m so in love with this dress! I saw another blogger wearing it and IMMEDIATELY purchased it. It’s under $50 and comes in 11 amazing colors. I can’t get enough of it! And since I’m currently planning our babymoon, which I think will be to Turks & Caicos, I think this dress will go perfectly with bigger bump!

Last but not least, another pair of jeans that are a must-have! With my belly and hip/legs always changing, none of my normal jeans fit. But these not only fit my legs, they also fit my belly without making my stomach hurt. They are incredibly stretchy and I think I’ll be able to wear them for a couple more months! Highly recommend these! And this t-shirt is on sale for only $10! The teddy coat is old, but I found a similar one on clearance!

Juli! Been a few minutes since I checked in with your site – so excited you are preggers! I was kind of harboring a secret wish all these years that you’d decide to pop out a kiddo. Congratulations to you & hubby!

You look beautiful! My “dressing my bump” was wear pajamas all the time unless forced to wear real clothes. Then I look at the pictures of me in my cute maternity clothes and think that I needed to dress better more often.

I’ve been following you for a long time. Been a bit since I’ve checked in and you are pregnant! How exciting. Never say never, right? Pregnancy is the craziest thing! And honestly I’m not a huge baby person but I loved being pregnant. My favorite part was feeling the baby move, just wait until you can see it! Best of luck to you.
