I know, I know – it’s too early to talk about Spring. But, I NEED to. And we’ve been spoiled to sh*t over here in Colorado with 70-80 degree days, so I’m even more excited for spring. So even though you may not have sunshine in your day, hopefully you have some sunny days on the horizon whether that’s in your own hometown or even on a sunny vacation! I have LA, Dallas and Costa Rica all on the horizon so I’m looking forward to warm days, away from the snow. And warm days means bright colors, short or long dresses, and showing a little skin!

So today I’m getting you warmed up for Spring, ready for an upcoming event, or just excited for future plans by sharing some of my favorite dresses, all under $100! When I found this red ruffle floral dress, I knew I needed to add it to my wardrobe to bring a little sunshine into my own house! It fits like a glove, cinches in at the waist, and has an open upper back with more ruffles in the back of the dress to give it enough more flow and texture! This dress would be perfect for an outdoor wedding, a day out with girlfriends, or just out for a nice dinner when it gets warmer out!

If you have an event coming up or maybe just a fun trip and you’re looking to show off a little skin, here are a handful of shorter dresses that get me excited for spring and ready to soak up every minute of sunshine!

But if longer dresses are more your style, I looked at some of my favorite stores to shop at to find some of the best maxi dresses that are all under $100 and all showstoppers!

But maybe you have a special even coming up, like a friends wedding where you need to step your dress game up? Grab your dress now before all the sizes are sold out! That’s what I love to do because then I have this dress in my closet that I’m super pumped to wear! I’ve linked my favorite dresses for a little bit fancier of an event below!

It’s suppose to be 65 degrees F today here in Colorado so it may be time to put this dress back on and dance my way into the weekend! Seriously so excited for Spring and Summer! And even more excited for traveling! Happy Friday, Happy Weekend, and Cheers to an early Spring (keeping my fingers crossed here, knowing that we are going to get bombarded with snow come March and April). You’d think I would learn my lesson now after living in Colorado for 28 years.

I am loving all of your fashion posts. This red ruffle dress is seriously the cutest! I cannot wait for warmer weather too! Does the dress run small? I find Topshop sizes tricky sometimes so any tips on sizing would be great! Thanks Juli!

Any updates on the fascia blaster? I got one and used it yesterday and am so bruised, it’s scary. I’m wondering if I should continue. Thanks for all you do!

    1. juli says:

haha did you watch any of the videos or read any of the information they give you? bruising is normal. i’ve only been using it for a week now but i’m bruising less and less, but again, i’ve only been using it for a week so i can’t really give an update yet

Hey Juli, thanks for the fashion fridays, I know I always have something fun to look forward to at the end of the week!

As a fairly-long-time-reader, I just wanted to give my two cents about something. I’ve recently noticed pop-up ads at the bottom of the screen that are really annoying. I get that this is basically your job and I’m sure you’re looking at all possible income streams, but that particular type of ad is so obnoxious. As a tablet user, it takes up like 1/5 of my screen, I can’t imagine what it does for phone users! It doesn’t bother me at all that you have affiliate links, or the ads in the middle of the content or on the right-hand bar, just the pop-ups that block your fashiony goodness. I hope this doesn’t sound critical, because I know a girl’s gotta fund her fashion somehow, just letting you know how it seems to one reader.

thank you for your feedback, laura! i’ll talk to my ad agency and see what i can do to change things up a bit!
