This week on the blog, it’s all about making better choices. On Monday I chatted about making small changes each day in the new year to help impact your health over time. So often we get caught up with New Year’s resolutions and we set these lofty goals that we can’t stick to. And because of that, we feel like failures and we give up. I did this for years and years…and years. Until one day I said no more and I decided to make one small change with my diet. And that change was breakfast. Instead of eating my processed, sugar-filled cereal every morning, I began making a smoothie with real, fresh ingredients. And after making that smoothie for a month or two, I finally felt comfortable with changing up my lunch routine. And then that led to trying new snacks throughout the day, then cooking more, then making my own recipes. That one small change to my breakfast routine led to many better choices down the road. I started small and those healthy choices began to tumbleweed in the best way possible. And that’s exactly what Daily Harvest is all about – helping you make better choices when it comes to your daily meals and snacks!
I don’t know how I’ve gone this long without trying Daily Harvest, but now I’m IN LOVE. I’ve been eating and snacking on Daily Harvest since before Christmas and I’m already excited to place my next order. The smoothies are divine, the harvest bowls are light yet filling, and the lattes are delightful. Oh yeah, and the bites are my new favorite afternoon snack! But the best part is that Daily Harvest includes hardly no planning whatsoever. For the smoothies, all you need is water, coconut water, or almond milk and a blender. Simply empty out the ingredients from the Daily Harvest smoothie container, add liquid, blend and then drink up! You can even pour the blended ingredients back into the container and take it to-go, that way you don’t need to dirty any extra dishes! And guess what? They actually taste AWESOME! I recently tried the Mint Cacao, Cold Brew Almond, and the Chocolate Hazelnut, and I loved every single one!
If you haven’t checked out Daily Harvest yet, here’s the quick breakdown –

If you haven’t tried out Daily Harvest, I can’t recommend them enough! They have become a weekly staple in my own routine and I can’t wait to place another order to try out the soups, the chia bowls, and I definitely want to try more of the lattes. I made iced lattes with their seasonal Peppermint Latte mix, but now I can’t wait to try the Chaga Chocolate! The iced lattes make mid-mornings at home way more enjoyable! The amount of servings per recipe/menu and the measurement for each ingredient is needed please so I could do it at home…:-)
Karla, these are pre-made recipes by Daily Harvest. I can’t share the measurement for each ingredient because it is THEIR recipe, not mine
