This week on the blog, it’s all about making better choices. On Monday I chatted about making small changes each day in the new year to help impact your health over time. So often we get caught up with New Year’s resolutions and we set these lofty goals that we can’t stick to. And because of that, we feel like failures and we give up. I did this for years and years…and years. Until one day I said no more and I decided to make one small change with my diet. And that change was breakfast. Instead of eating my processed, sugar-filled cereal every morning, I began making a smoothie with real, fresh ingredients. And after making that smoothie for a month or two, I finally felt comfortable with changing up my lunch routine. And then that led to trying new snacks throughout the day, then cooking more, then making my own recipes. That one small change to my breakfast routine led to many better choices down the road. I started small and those healthy choices began to tumbleweed in the best way possible. I don’t know how I’ve gone this long without trying Daily Harvest, but now I’m IN LOVE. I’ve been eating and snacking on Daily Harvest since before Christmas and I’m already excited to place my next order. The smoothies are divine, the harvest bowls are light yet filling, and the lattes are delightful. Oh yeah, and the bites are my new favorite afternoon snack!
