I’m surprised it’s mid-July and I’m just getting around to writing a post about summer sandals. WTF, Juli? It’s probably because I’ve been living barefoot lately. Not outside my home, like some people like to do, because I think walking in the park barefoot is just asking for a hypodermic needle in your foot. But I do love a barefoot home around my house, even in our home gym these days. After 4 months of quarantine, it just feels right to be barefoot.
But now that we are heading back into world, around other humans who wear shoes, it’s time to snag some sandals that make me feel cute AF while also being a social-norm-following part of society. Ya feel me? Below I 15 of my top favorite sandals from this season. You’ll find flat sandals, slightly elevated heels, medium heel sandals, mules, and wedges. I’m going to share my top favorite from each section then you can find the full list below!
For the flat sandals, the Steve Madden Travel Tan Sandals are my ABSOLUTE favorite. I don’t understand why they don’t have a 5 star rating because they are freaking awesome! I rarely find any flat sandals that comfortable and I find myself grabbing these for every outfit this summer. They come in 6 different colors, they are comfortable to wear all day long, and they look good with almost any outfit!
For the low sandals, the Pink Buckle Comfort Slides are the absolute best! They come in almost any color you can think of and they are only $19!! These sandals are really lightweight, they are waterproof, and they are comfortable enough to wear all day long. I’m absolutely obsessed with these sandals!
Now if you’re interested in a slightly elevated heel, try out these Sarto Lexie Platform Espadrille Sandals! This platform shoe gives you a little height without putting a strain on the ankle and foot. The straps have a slight stretch to them that make the sandals even more comfortable and they come in a couple different colors to choose from!
And if you want COMFY sandals, reach for these TOMS Junie Mule Sandals. As you probably know by now, TOMS makes incredibly comfortable shoes, including these ones. They do run a little small, so be sure to size up, but they give great support and really stretch around your foot to keep the shoe in place. And right now they are 30% off!!
Last but not least – if you like to look at tall as possible in sandals, these BP Gabby Woven Wedges will give you height, comfort, and style all at the same time! The wedges fit true to size and they are only $60! They will definitely amp up any summer look you have without you having to stress over how much your feet hurt with every step.
