Fall is coming!! It’s been cloudy and rainy all week in Colorado and I LOVE IT. I haven’t really done much with my life because all I want to do is cuddle with Jackson on the couch, but I man do I love dressing up for fall. Fall means we get to wear our cute dresses from summer with our new adorable jackets and add some scarves with those dresses. And BOOM, you’ve got fall. Fall is by far the easiest to dress up for. Anything you wear can be considered fall if you put a jacket over it. And that’s exactly what I did this week. Added some jackets, wore some of my favorite new booties, and topped with some scarves and long necklaces.

Vigoss Boyfriend Jeans from Nordstrom for $58.00 | Beige Tank from Francesca’s for $10 | Purple Infinity Scarf from Target for $15 | Black Leather Jacket from Inspyre Boutique for $80 | Long gold chain necklace from Inspyre Boutique for $15 |Dolce Vita leopard flats from Nordstrom Rack for $40 }

If I worked in an office instead of out of my home, and if I could stand wearing heels for more than 10 minutes, I would totally wear an outfit like this. It’s a little edgy with the leather embellishment (even more on the back) and is paired with a dainty but sophisticated sequin skirt. This is the one day I wish I worked in an office.

{ No clue where this skirt is from, but here is a similar one for $50 and another one here | Black Leather Jacket from Inspyre Boutique for $80 | Green tank with leather shoulder embellishments from Inspyre Boutique for $5 (on sale) | Black pumps by Vince Camuto for $70 from DSW }

I’ve been trying to find a similar sweater for you, but the only sweaters that have this shape are ones that twist in the back. And even though a person told me I have this sweater on backwards, she was wrong. It’s suppose to go this way. And it’s so fun. It keeps you warm while having a crop top style so my belly button can say hello to people in the fall.

Sole Society Tallie Suede Tassel Booties in Portobello for $90 | J Brand Black Leggings (got these as a hand me down from a friend so they were free!) | White Sweater from Pink’s Boutique for $40 | Turquoise necklace from Inspyre Boutique for $20 }

This dress is by far one of my favorite dresses ever. I wish I had more places to wear it to but wearing a white dress to a wedding is frowned upon for some reason. I wish I had better lighting because this lipstick color looked awesome with the white and green camo colors. Not black and goth like it may look in these pictures. I want to wear this color all the time. Even though my boyfriend says it makes me look pale. Ya win some, ya lose some.

Go Figure White Bustier Dress from Lulu’s for $62 | Sidney Sole Society Booties for $90 | Merona Camo Button Up from Target for $25 | Miranda Frye Solar Necklace for $76.00 | Long gold chain necklace from Inspyre Boutique for $15 }

Now a handful of people have been asking about some of my make up and what I wear. The thing is, I don’t buy expensive, fancy stuff. I just don’t know enough about make up so I buy cheaper stuff and if I hate it, I don’t lose sleep about throwing it out because it was cheap! But here are my favorite make up items, hope it’s helpful!

Loreal Telescopic Mascara | EOS Chapsticks | Bareminerals Liquid Foundation | For dark lips – Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in Passion | For light lips – Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in LA Exclusive | For red lips – Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm in Provocateur topped with Wet n Wild Glassy Gloss Lip Gel 313A | For glossy pink lips – Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Pink Pop }

Oh, Hi! I’m Juli.

I’m a food hoarder. And a really bad dancer. If you don’t know me well, you will probably not understand my humor. Therefore, I apologize ahead of time. Thanks for listening to my ramblings of my ever-changing life and trusting my kitchen mishaps. Your trust in me is appreciated.

  1. Ooh, I can’t wait to break out my scarves again! I’m a bit of a scarf hoarder; I have just under a million. But the highs are still in the 80s so I just have to be patient another month or two!

    Totally digging that cross-front sweater.

  2. I’ve been using that same mascara for over 5 years now! Every time I try something else, I always go back!

    I love your “business” outfit. I wish I worked in a more fashion forward office, but I’m mostly with male engineers so it would be too risqué haha. So cute though! I’d totally wear that out to dinner here in D.C.

  3. What’s the back of that sweater look like, I wonder? It’s adorable from the front. U r cute as a button – like always! Keep up the great work, and keep wearing the bright lip gloss… it suits you. 🙂

  4. Hey Juli! We’re heading to Colorado tomorrow. We fly into the Denver airport before heading south to Colorado Springs…any restaurant recs along the way? We’d be getting brunch

  5. I just got on the wait list for those booties at Nordstroms…they are adorable. And that white sweater…going to contact Pink’s to see if they have any left.

    LOVE your style woman and Happy Friday!

  6. Fall is awesome! The smells, the colors, the food, the weather, the CLOTHES! I think you would love Grace and Lace clothes. They were on Shark Tank a few years ago. They have the most adorable leg warmers and boot socks.

  7. Walgreen’s has 100% satisfaction so buy your makeup there. Save the wrapper and if you don’t like it for whatever reason they will refund or exchange it no questions asked.
    …I saw a lady try to return batteries there, and they did it!

  8. That is the BEST mascara I have EVER used. Anyone looking for a good one, that is it. I love it way more than the very expensive one I purchased…

  9. Wow, I haven’t logged on for months (failed paleo), and what a huge difference in you. You are brimming with confidence. Well done you.

  11. I love these posts! Keep them coming!

    Also, I frequent Picnik in Austin and when I saw your pictures with Naomi I was so disappointed only because I want to meet you :(((

  12. I’m never disappointed after these posts – if anything, I’m inspired to go shopping! I love your “office” look. After starting my own place in an office job, I wish I could pull something off like this. But pants it is…more comfy for what I do, and with our smaller staff. =)
