I think the world is separated into two different kinds of people: people who love jumpsuits and/or rompers and the people who hate them. What I firmly believe is that the people who hate jumpsuits and rompers just haven’t found one that works for them. I’m guessing they probably tried one on, got an instant camel toe, then swore them off for good. I did this before, but then I pushed through and now have 3 rompers and 1 jumpsuit that fit PERFECTLY. Not all jumpsuits and rompers are the same and they are built for different body types. Once you find the perfect jumpsuit or romper, you can dress them up or dress them down. DSC_1919DSC_1921 When I was on my book tour, I found this jumpsuit in the San Diego mall at Express. Even though I had no room in my suitcase, I just couldn’t say no to it. And I’m so glad I got it because it’s going to be perfect for fall. Add a little leather jacket along with some cute booties and a scarf and BOOM, fall is wonderful. DSC_1959 This jumpsuit comes in black and moss green. I got it in the green because my favorite part of fall is wearing my black leather jacket and I thought it would go great with the green color. But on this day, a hat and scarf worked a little bit better with the weather. Can you tell that I’m getting excited for fall?? DSC_1949

I love the look of jumpsuits and rompers. I haven’t found one that doesn’t give me camel toe or that I could break out the cash for yet but I’m very hopefully. I have a long torso and short legs, the search will continue though.

So darlilng! One question though on rompers – I always have a hard time when I need to use the washroom because I find my self stripping down. It is the biggest pain to overcome for me! Is there a trick you use?

Love this on you!! My biggest fear with jumpsuits is that they will be too long, and rompers and jumpsuits both that the crotch is going to be extremely low since I’m only 5’2. I need to just go try one on!

Obsessed with this jumpsuit!!! I’m a huge jumpsuit/romper fan, but feel like most guys are not fans. It kind of makes me love it even more though, because it’s one of those girl power outfits that makes you feel like a bada**

So so cute! Def a great summer to fall conversion piece. I would love to find a romper/jumpsuit that fits! At nearly six foot tall it’s hard though. Nonetheless your blog today has given me ammo to continue the search! Have a fun weekend!

I’m trying to trust you on this. To date, you have greatly influenced my daughter and me in our fashion choices. We saw a lot of jumpsuits when shopping this weekend. They made me afraid. I like the way you wear it though. You look smart and cute. Maybe. Maybe.

    Love that green on you!
I have the black jumpsuit from Express. Hands down one of my favorite wardrobe pieces. It looks so unassuming and ordinary on the hanger but girls try it on! It will change your mind about jumpsuits. And make stripping down to go to the bathroom so worth it!
