With all the traveling I’ve been doing lately and all the traveling I have coming up, spending quality time with my husband is so important whenever I’m home. That means more date nights for catching up and feeling like husband and wife…instead of just roommates. I’ve always been pretty independent and I love being by myself, so date night has become a staple in our relationship for reconnecting and remembering why year two of marriage will be even better than the first.

Something that has become more important to me over time is feeling confident and beautiful whenever we are going out on our dates. Since I work from home, my husband sees me in pajamas or workout clothes 99% of the time. So whenever we go out, I make a point of dressing up in something I wouldn’t normally wear. And because of that, he always takes notice, and that feels amazing!

And whenever date night comes up and I want to feel my best, I go straight to Nordstrom to find the perfect dress. They have a HUGE dress and jumpsuit section that you can filter by size, color, price, brand, and style. So if you’re looking for the perfect little black dress and you wear a size medium, you can set those filters and figure out the sleeve length you want and instantly shop the perfect dress in minutes, instead of searching through hundreds of pages. Finding this Dress the Population mermaid-style dress (that also comes in white!) was so easy to find and I instantly fell in love! Nordstrom makes it convenient to figure out your size through the size info details and gives you all the information about the item so you know the material, how to care for it and even where it’s made! I am truly obsessed with this dress that fit like a glove. It’s 5% spandex so it hugs your curves while giving you an amazing amount of coverage with the thickness of the material. This dress made me feel like I was wearing my wedding dress all over again!

Oh, Hi! I’m Juli.

I’m a food hoarder. And a really bad dancer. If you don’t know me well, you will probably not understand my humor. Therefore, I apologize ahead of time. Thanks for listening to my ramblings of my ever-changing life and trusting my kitchen mishaps. Your trust in me is appreciated.
