One of the #1 questions I get asked on a daily basis is what I snack on. And the more I workout regularly and the more I mix up my workout routine, the more I notice that I’m hungrier multiple times per day. I’ll try to make my meals a little bigger, but sometimes I just need snacks. And since I went paleo years and years ago, LARABAR has been my go-to snack whenever I need something quick, nutritious and something that has no hidden, confusing ingredients in it. LARABAR is Food Made From Food, plain and simple. And every product they make is made with simple real food ingredients that make real food accessible for all!
No matter if I’m traveling, coaching at my gym or just out running errands, I always have a LARABAR on hand somewhere in my purse. And luckily, LARABAR continues to expand it’s line into even more products so we all have even more healthy options to choose from:

- LARABAR Fruits+ Greens – These NEW LARABAR bars are smoothie-inspired blends with only six or fewer ingredients per bar!
- They have a quarter cup of greens in each bar, but all you taste is the delicious bright fruit! They are a convenient and delicious way to add fruits and greens to your diet!
- Find them in 3 different flavors including Mango Spinach Cashew, Strawberry Spinach Cashew, and Pineapple Kale Cashew!
- LARABAR Nuts & Seeds – This baked crunchy bar made from real, simple ingredients, including sprouted chia seeds is delicious and has a very different texture than their normal bars!

The flavor that has been my go-to lately with LARABAR is the lemon bar because it reminds me of lemon pie or lemon squares and it only has 6 ingredients in it! Everything in it I can pronounce and nothing that I have to google! Just food made from food!

My favorite is the Cashew Cookie and it only has two ingredients: cashews and dates!
Id love to try the Key Lime Pie! This bar has dates, cashews, almonds, coconut and lime concentrate.
My go-to Larabar is the pecan pie – 3 ingredients, are you kidding me?! Just dates, pecans, and almonds. Perfect for an afternoon pick me up with just the right amount of sweetness!
My favorite is Chocolate Coconut Chew! The ingredients include: dates, almonds, walnuts, unsweetened cocoa powder, and unsweetened coconut! It is sooooo good and a great pick me up during my busy work day! Also those bites…don’t get me started on the goodness of the LARABAR bites!
My favorite is the blueberry muffin! With the dates, cashews, unsweetened blueberries, blueberry juice concentrate, lemon juice concentrate and vanilla extract, it is my go to snack for before workouts and at work! 🙂
I love the Blueberry Muffin bars and even took a whole box with me to New Zealand and Australia for quick, healthy snacks! Dates, cashews, blueberries, lemon, and vanilla…yummm!!
I love the cashew and dates Larabar! It’s so simple and delicious ????
I recently revamped my diet in order to keep up with my training for a full marathon and various CrossFit competitions. I have been working to cut back on processed carbs, which can make it difficult to sustain energy on my long weekend runs. However, I found a diet that breaks carbs up into starchy & non-starchy vegetables and fruits – I feel like I have a cup of some sort of fruit/veggie in front of me at all times these days. While the results of the diet have been great so far, I found myself missing what my brain has labeled “actual yummy carbs” like bread, pasta, flour, etc. and “actual yummy sweets” that do not include bare fruits… So, staying away from my daily dose of “actual yummy foods” was starting to become a struggle for me. One of the semi-“healthy” things that had been a part of my diet were different types of granola bars (ya know, the types that have 30 or so ingredients listed on the back that I still don’t even know what half of them are).
Just last week I was wandering through Costco (casually stealing samples which do not count against my diet because they’re free and not a full serving – shhh… don’t tell my boyfriend I said that) when I found a box of Lara bars on sale. The box had two flavors; apple pie and chocolate chip cookie dough. I am OBSESSED with the apple pie bar. Literally, I think about having one when I get home throughout my entire work day. It’s a perfect snack for after work and before I go to the gym and fulfills my need for “actual yummy foods” without breaking my diet. I absolutely love how simple the ingredients are (all six of them) and I feel like the dates give me a little added boost before CrossFit and/or a run!
That being said, I want to try ALL OF THEM. Unfortunately, Costco has yet to stock an aisle with every single flavor of Lara bars and give out samples of each of them (or fortunately I suppose, since that means I’d end up spending another 2-3 hours at Costco instead of running). Blueberry muffin, peanut butter cookie and peanut butter and jelly are at the top of my list!
Love love cherry pie!
I have converted a ton of friends to love them, 3 ingredients and that super tart cherry goodness!!
I was obsessed with the holiday flavors this year… snickerdoodle, gingerbread and pumpkin pie. But typically my go-tos are banana bread and peanut butter cookie. Whenever I happen to find the rare peanut butter and jelly I go CRAZZZYYY! ( and buy about 20 of them)
My favorite is the Peanut Butter and Jelly Larabar. It only has 4 ingredients. Dates, peanuts, unsweetened cherries, and sea salt. Yum!!!
