It’s here. Spring has totally sprung here in Colorado and I can’t get enough of it! Especially now that my husband has quit his job and he’s at home every single day! It’s absolutely awesome. Now we can finall enjoy spring together! After dinner walks, impromptu restaurant stops, and playing games in our backyard is currently on our spring agenda. I don’t know if you knew this, but hanging out with your significant other is pretty great. I’m just now experiencing that after 3 years of marriage and I’m IN.TO.IT.

Since I’ve been a bit less interested in cooking this past week, mostly because I just want to leave the house as much as possible with my husband and this amazing weather, we’ve been heading out to some of our favorite restaurants to grab dinner. But the problem with leaving the house is that you have to get out of pajamas. And even though my Nordstrom Pajamas are pretty damn cute, they aren’t exactly socially acceptable. Well, that’s where this super comfortable look from Nordstrom comes in handy!

I use to dread spring and summer because I would always worry about what I would wear. Shorts have never been my friend, even to this day they don’t make me feel my absolute best. But when I put on an a-line skirt, I completely feel at ease. Especially in this Madewell Denim Skirt (that’s now on sale for 25% off!). It hugs perfectly at the waist but leaves the hips alone, letting your thighs breathe. And to any ladies out there with thicker thighs, you know what I’m talking about. This skirt sits perfectly at the waist and has a generous amount of room around the hips which means it stays in place as you walk and you won’t have to constantly pull at it. It’s just straight up comfortable!

My other spontaneous spring night wardrobe staple is a comfortable tank top that you can wear by itself or wear with a light jacket on top. And I’m loving the button up tank top trend that has been everywhere lately! This Linen Button Up Camisole goes with about everything come spring time! I’ve been wearing it with jeans, with crop pants, and even with shorts! It’s soft, breathable and it’s not see through, which is always a plus!

And any spring look this season deserves some spring-inspired accessories! I don’t know why I didn’t buy these Treasure & Bond Wedge Sandals earlier! They are spacious around the front of the foot, they have plenty of room around the ankle strap, and they come in 9 different colors! I wore these wedges all day long at our party for my husband over the weekend and I could have also slept in them! They are that comfortable! And don’t forget a cute woven bag! Accessories elevate any plain look and Nordstrom has so many different summer handbags to choose from that fit some of the minimal items you’ll need when you head out on your summer adventures!

Oh, Hi! I’m Juli.

I’m a food hoarder. And a really bad dancer. If you don’t know me well, you will probably not understand my humor. Therefore, I apologize ahead of time. Thanks for listening to my ramblings of my ever-changing life and trusting my kitchen mishaps. Your trust in me is appreciated.

  1. Hanging out with your spouse is the best. I’d rather hang out with my husband than 99.9% of people. Also, I love this skirt and I’ll be ordering it soon!
