I think it’s safe to say that we are going to be home for a while. And I totally get why that can feel a little stressful and hard to get used to. We all have to create our new normal and that can feel strange if your “old normal” started with leaving the house every morning. But since we are now inside, it’s time to accept it and make the most out of it. Maybe it’s time to read a new book, play games with the family, start a home project you’ve been talking about, or maybe it’s time for you to start that business you’ve always wanted to. Everyone’s new day-to-day is going to look a little different, including mine. I plan to create new fitness programs for you guys and some new recipe e-books to help you stay as healthy as possible at home. And I’ll be doing all of this while in the comfiest clothes I can find. Because hey, if we are going to be at home 24/7, we might as well be the most comfortable version of yourself the entire time.

I pretty much have my new normal daily routine down at this point –

  • Wake up – coffee – work on my blog
  • Breakfast
  • Workout
  • Shoot fitness videos for you guys
  • Shoot photos for the blog and social
  • Work on content for the blog
  • Order in lunch to support small businesses in the area
  • Give Jackson snacks and his daily medication
  • Work more on the computer while sitting outside
  • Eat dinner
  • Watch Peaky Blinders with Jackson

And I’ve been doing all this while wearing the comfiest clothes I can find. Jeans are only for days that I feel like stepping it up a notch, but most days, it’s all about the joggers, jumpsuits, and cozy pullovers.

And luckily Express has everything we need to stay super comfortable while we create our new normal at home. They have adorable and soft matching sets to wear around that house that feel a little less like normal pajamas. And they have fuzzy pullovers and hoodies to keep you extra warm while cuddled up on the couch. Since it just snowed here in Denver, I’ve been bundling up in Sherpa Sweatshirt and LOVE it. Hate the snow, love the cuddly softness of the sweatshirt. Express even has a Stay At Home Must-Haves page to help you find your new “work” wardrobe!

Life is very up in the air right now, but if you can find your new normal at home, you will find a new type of happiness. I’ve been laughing so much with my husband lately and I’m spending as much time as possible petting Jackson as he heals from his post-surgery complications. I may not be able to get my hair done or go to my gym, but I’m finding a lot of little moments I will cherish forever during this lockdown stage of life. And I’m making sure I’m comfortable every step of the way! If you’re looking for your new comfortable at-home work wardrobe, Express is now offering PaleOMG readers free standard shipping when you use code 3568!! It’s time to bundle up, get cozy with your loved ones, and be thankful for the time we have at home before everything changes on us again. Stay healthy out there, but most of all, stay happy.

    Happy Saturday!
I listen to your podcast every morning on my walk. It makes the 4 miles go really fast! I was listening to your skincare podcast yesterday and want to order mendelic acid. What brand would you recommend? I’ve been reading your blog for years and love it!
    Thank you,
    Julie

Sigh, much of your blog is just ads now.

well Suzy, this blog and business costs anywhere from $5000-$10,000 per month to run so if i don’t have any ads on my site, i can’t run this FREE website. if you are interested in paying a monthly fee for a site that is free of ads, let me know, that might be an option in the future! but please remember before commenting on other people’s sites about their ads – their business costs money. this free site that you look at takes thousands upon thousands of dollars to run and they have to pay for it somehow!
