Today on the podcast, I’m talking about my husband taking a chance and jumping into the unknown. He quit his job with no exact plan and I couldn’t be more proud of him. I’m also chatting about some exciting 2019 plans we have in store! Sometimes you gotta take chances and just hope for the best. And that’s what we are doing!

Episode 131 Transcription Coming Soon!
This episode came at the perfect time. 6.5 months ago my husband and I moved to a new state for his job. Thursday we closed on our brand new house and I listened while I was unpacking and setting up our kitchen. Taking a chance was the best thing we ever did- we’ve been able to build an incredible house, I have a new job that I love, and we love the city we live in now. Best of luck to you and your husband as you start this new chapter!
so important to take chances! so glad to hear that your new chapter has been amazing!
Getting altitude sickness doesn’t have anything to do with a person’s fitness level; even elite athletes can be impacted if they are not acclimated to it. That is probably why that woman kept falling over, it can make you feel dizzy, foggy, and exhausted. I really hope she recovered well and was able to enjoy the rest of her trip.
I couldn’t agree more – life is for living! We’re only here a short amount of time and shouldn’t waste years being miserable. Good on ya for taking the leap! You guys are both smart, savvy, and driven. I wish Brian the best of luck!
thanks for the love Bethany!
I just listened to this podcast on my way to work and am so happy for you both! You have mentioned here and there over the years how much your husband works, and eating dinner before he gets home and some of the trips that he can’t be with you on. When you mentioned that he wrote a list of the things he wanted to do, it kinda made my heart burst with happiness. I was that idiot smiling away in my car about someone I don’t even know. I had a job years ago that was 7 days a week and the toll it took on my health (including a 20+ lb weight loss) just wasn’t worth it. Quitting and being able to go do things with my friends and not stress was the BEST. Cheers to this next chapter in your lives!
thank you so much Sarah!! you never really know how much you’re missing out on until you take a step back and look at the big picture. i’m so glad he finally took the leap and is looking at the big picture now!
