I can’t believe it. Honestly, I don’t want to believe it. But winter is coming. Denver has already seen snow which means it’s time to pull out all my winter clothes and embrace the cold. I plan to live in blankets while drinking hot cocoa for the next 5 months. But since being a complete recluse isn’t always the healthiest behavior, I have to actually go outside. And that means I need to be prepped and ready with the warmest jackets. Luckily lululemon just came out with their Cloudscape Jacket and I put it to the test while out looking for the changing yellow aspen leaves this past week. Our hunt for the perfect trees failed, but this jacket kept me super warm and cozy throughout our trek.
Something I had to learn pretty early on, since I’m a Colorado native, is that a warm jacket that can hold up to the weather and the constant wear and tear is a MUST. I would much prefer being at the beach all year long, but since Colorado is our home base at this point and the seasons are constantly changing, a cozy jacket that can be worn daily is a MUST. And this brand new Cloudscape Jacket is made with Glyde fabric that is water and wind resistant, and it’s filled with 700-fill-power goose down to ensure that you’re always warm! And what I love about this jacket and didn’t figure out until wearing it a couple times is that it cinches!! So many different puffer coats are shaped like spongebob square pants so you can layer up underneath, but what if you don’t need all those layers? What if you just want to wear a sleek long sleeve top underneath? Well this Cloudscape Jacket has an interior waist and hem drawcord to customize it to your needs! That way you can wear it completely loose somedays like I did in these photos, and then other days you can cinch it in to show off more of a waist! The jacket also comes with zippered pockets, a hidden photo pocket, and a secret interior zip pocket to stash any valuables like a credit card or car keys! This jacket has all the bells and whistles!

When I used to work in a gym that had no heat and it was the dead of winter, these tops were the only thing that kept me from having a breakdown every single day. Just a comment – I love that you don’t drink. So I say to myself “Well, Juli doesn’t drink, I don’t need to either” I’ll wake up and feel great! I need to cut drinking for a while to solve digestive problems. Just helpful to know others aren’t drinking either!
i do drink, i just don’t drink that often! but i agree, it’s nice when there are others out there doing the same as you. i’m currently traveling for a wedding and have one other friend that doesn’t drink much and it’s nice to know i’m not alone as things get weirder throughout the night
