In this episode, I’m getting quite personal and sharing something very close to my heart. I’ve been hesitant to share this because everyone has an opinion about this subject, but it’s also something I want to share with the world because I’m quite excited and optimistic about it!

Juli,
This was so great to listen to!!! It was uplifting, inspiring, and exciting!!!! I wish all the best for you and Brian on this journey!!!
Juli,
What a wonderful podcast! So excited for you on your journey. Even though my son is 17, so much of your message resonates with me to remind myself to continue to “level up” and be not just what he needs me to be, but who I’m meant to be. Love all that you do, best wishes!
Thanks for taking us along for the ride!! Putting out all the good vibes for you and Brain!
One of my favorite podcasts you’ve ever done honestly. You’ve had so much growth over the last few years, and it’s been wonderful to see. It’s also inspired me to continue to grow as well. Thank you for sharing such a personal journey with all of us. I feel very optimistic for you and wish you all the best life has to offer!
I totally related to your journey. I never felt “called” to being a mom, nor do I LOVE little kids, but when my husband and I decided to have a kid (after years of infertility), it was the best thing that happened to us. I will say, it was a major adjustment, as we were together 6 years and married 8 before having our daughter, but now I can’t see it any other way. Acupuncture truly helped me during my fertility journey. I encourage you to explore that as a natural way of supporting your process!
I am so happy that you and Brian are on the same page in your journey! You sound really at peace and balanced.
I wanted to mention that I know several women who have had strange periods after they received the Covid shot. Either starting their period after menopause or frequent and more painful periods. My sister hasn’t had a normal period since she got the vaccine in January. Just something to consider if you wanted to research it! Not meant to scare you at all.
Motherhood is such a journey, as is the path to motherhood. I remember hearing your earlier podcasts and feelings on children that were all valid. There’s a lot of fear (I had at least) about how my life would change and how much more stressful it would be. And then one day, it all sort of clicked, that I was ready to experience a scary, over the top, wonderful thing like motherhood. I understand it’s not for everyone.
You sound really at peace with your decision, which is the best place to be as you enter in. Everyone will try to tell you about the bad parts of being a parent, which I’ve never really understood. Because while it is hard, the magical, wonderful parts really stand out way way more to me.
Good luck on your TTC journey! <3
Great episode, it has been interesting to hear your journey and growth the past couple of years, as you share how you’ve learned more about yourself and what is important to you. It’s often helpful to hear others journeys to help ourselves reflect on our own, thanks for being willing to share. I was lucky enough to have a wonderful functional medicine doctor when I was expecting a few years ago. She sadly retired, but still does interesting work that aligns with the theme of the book on nutrition you’ve been reading. If you’re interested in another source of that type of info, check out – https://shop.growbabyhealth.com/pages/about-us – I can’t say enough about both of these fabulous women who influenced my own journey through motherhood.
Way to be you and all that is true for you and share it with others.
