All I’ve been craving in sweet potatoes, nutella, chocolate, and ummmmm more sweet potatoes, in fry form. That’s all I’ve wanted. Thankfully I’ve been eating other stuff, but I don’t know what the hell is going on. No, I’m not pregnant. And no, it’s not that time of the month. You should know that by now if you’ve read my blog regularly. Gross. I’m gross.
I kind of want ice cream.
Ok, enough about food. This blog is a food blog, I shouldn’t be talking about it. Just kidding. Let’s talk about these banana breads. I wanted banana bread the other day and ended up making it without nuts or seeds, which I haven’t done before. I’m not really sure if a coconut is a seed or a fruit, but I don’t really care because my body gets along with coconuts. I’m sure someone will tell me on my blog. That’s usually how I learn stuff.
I got my nails AND toes done yesterday. My feet feel lighter. I’m pretty sure it’s been 7 years since I got a pedicure. SEVEN YEARS. Do you know how many calluses build up in 7 years? While doing CrossFit. And wearing shoes that don’t take very good care of my feet. Either way, my toes look pretty good at this point. I have ugly toes so I need as much help as I can get. I’m so excited to get sandals.
Never once did I think I would say that. My life is so different compared to last year, it’s ridiculous. Last year, I was wearing CrossFit clothes constantly, working out multiple times a day, never taking off my tennis shoes (mostly because they smell terrible), Rx’ing every workout, and rarely taking off my headband. I now get my toes and nails done, suck at workouts, style my hair about 60% of the time, drink bloody marys more often than not, and shop online more than I ever thought I would. ModCloth is doing well off of me. I’m even going shopping for jeans twice in one week after crying in the dressing room last time. But I’m definitely getting jeans this time around. I’m not letting any jeans get me down, like I would have last year. Anyone know a good seamstress in Denver? I think I’m gonna need it.
I just ate sweet potatoes and there is grease on my keyboard. I’m a terrible blogger.

These look great! Banana bread is one of my favorite treats. My brother has gotten a dress shirt made for him in Denver, so I assume they would tailor for you. Not sure who it is, but I can find out if you are interested.
I had a similar transformation when I started dating someone seriously 😉
I think coconut is a nut. There is no research to back that statement up, just the “nut” part of teh word… and I’m pretty sure there is no “coco” family.
I love coconut, but everything I bake with coconut flour as a strange aftertaste. You think it’s the flour or baking soda or baking powder?
You may have already learned this, but coconut is not actually a nut, it’s a fruit.
I’m allergic to tree nuts, and so I’ve done research to be sure!
🙂
Mmmmm nut free banana bread!? Shut the front door.
Please stop saying you suck at workouts. You don’t. I know because I’m in the SW region and stalk the SW leaderboard. You didn’t do bad. Those of us who really suck aspire to do what you can do, so… be nice to our aspirations and role model ok? 🙂
Totally agree. I’m not in the SW region. I straight up stalked Juli out of curiosity and she did awesome. Maybe one day I will be as awesome. Maybe.
Until then, maybe I’ll work on being less of a stalker.
Hey, stalking is how you find the best workout partners. I stalked someone from the CF blog (main site) and found that she lived in the next town over. I’ve been getting my butt whooped ever since!
See! Stalking isn’t bad at all. How else are you supposed to find a husband these days!?
Joking 😉
I’m having a similar jeansperience (jeans experience, if you will) and evolving my own relationship with exercise – there are definitely very trying moments but its a really rewarding transition too. The banana breads look delish!
Erol’s in Cherry Creek does great work.

WOW!
I didn’t even have time to read your hilarious-ness before I started drooling. From pictures. Geeze–hopeless.
That just looks so. so. good.
Caveat: This has nothing to do with banana bread.
I found your blog via pinterest. Made some stuff – so far all amazing. I don’t eat paleo, but just like feeling healthy via the foods I eat.
I noticed you blog a lot about your acne. I’m 29, recently went off birth control pills after 10+ years and my body is like, “F-YOU here are some disgusting pimples for your face and body”. I recently found a solution to this, and you will DIE. SERIOUSLY DIE. Coconut oil. I “wash” my face with coconut oil in the morning and night and never use anything else…except maybe once every other week I mix it with some baking soda to exfoliate. I don’t use lotion on my face. I literally, wipe coconut oil all over my face, “wash it” with water, and then blot it dry. At first, it feels oily, but your face will suck it in. TRY IT! I actually never used coconut oil in kitchen until this week when I found your blog. Now I feel like I’m eating my face wash – although I did buy a new jar for my kitchen. My husband thinks I’m weird. Good luck and thank you for your blog!
Sincerely,
Addicted to coconut oil.
Haha. I get you. This week I have managed to get both almond butter and honey on my keyboard. I am pretty much typing on a sandwich. Food blogger problems. I am totally craving banana bread! WANT! 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
No way do you suck at workouts. I’ve gotta try the chocolate chip one!
Try Joe’s Jeans and if you have a Buckle store – go there tell them the color you want and let them bring you every pair of jeans in the store until you find one you like. I do that. 🙂
I love Buckle, I do the same thing! I have an ass and thighs so I don’t mind paying more for jeans if they fit, are comfy, and cute 🙂
