You know when this time of year hits and there’s really nothing on the calendar to get you excited about the coming months? I’m not in high school or college anymore and have spring break to force me to take time off. Even though I truly hated school, they FORCED you on vacation, which is pretty rad. Luckily this year, we are getting married in Jamaica around spring break so it’s forcing us to get packing and start planning for a tropical paradise.
But what to do if you are land locked, in the snow, in 20 degrees weather. Well ModCloth has you covered with their nautical and swimwear line. I recently showed you a one piece swimsuit I picked up from ModCloth before I left for my Costa Rica trip and I fell in love with it. Mostly because it pretty much tanned abs on you. Genius. But they really do have some super cool one piece swimsuits! I mostly wear bikinis, but their swimsuits have me on the excited one piece swimsuit train. They’re colorful, they have cool angles and shapes, and some even show a little more skin so it doesn’t make you feel like you’re wearing your grandma’s bikini (no hate to the granny’s out there!).
But if swimsuits are so far out of your brain right now, a good vacation tee will get anyone excited about spring and summer. This comfy little tee is perfect for tucking and since it says ‘Let’s Go Travel’ on the front, you never know what friend you’ll make wandering about that will want to go travel with you. Creepy? Maybe. But that’s ok, because you’ll be traveling. And happy.
Now let’s talk about these little shiny loafers. I’m OBSESSED with them. They are super comfortable, don’t ride to high on the ankle and they dress up any outfit with their shiny point. I plan on wearing these any time it’s not snowing out! Be sure to get a 1/2 size up because they run just a little small!
Looking for more t-shirt inspiration? Well ModCloth has A TON of graphic t-shirts! But here are my favorite nautical ones. Because honestly, nautical is the best. I want striped everything right now!!
OMGITSALMOSTDRESSSEASONAGAIN!! Who wants to wear jeans when you can wear a dress? No jumping into pants, no circulation cut off – just happy, breathable thighs. My favorite thing about spring is layering dresses with booties or flats and a light jacket, like I did here. And a little fit and flare dress is so flattering on so many different body types. Of all dresses I have in my closet, most of them are from ModCloth because they are always so comfortable and affordable!
But if this look isn’t your style, I’m linking my other favorite below to help you build your own nautical dress, jacket and purse combo!
