So the other night, when Laura, Sergio, and I went to club it up, I had this lotion that I put on because I thought it smelled awesome. Like for reals good. It’s that kind of lotion you put on and instantly feel more attractive because you’re oozing smells of lust. That’s how I would explain it at least. So I squeezed on some of the lotion and instantly asked Sergio to tell me how good I smelled….he said I smelled like a stripper. WINNING. Not really.
Speaking of things that smell….my friend Jake got his stolen car back a couple days ago…I don’t think it smells ok in there. Wanna know why? This is why, please read Jake’s facebook status:
“well…3 weeks later, they found my truck. on top of that they got the guys who did it, along with 5 back packs full of meth, 2 hatchets, 1 sword, a bunch of stolen goods….and gay porn and lube.”
You can imagine what the comments were like to that status. I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s not that funny, it’s actually REALLY scary, but still. It’s kinda funny. He’s getting a new truck. They had to clean needles out of it. That’s even more scary. And not funny. Sorry Jake. I’m a bad friend.
I’ve come to a decision about something. Recently, I tried to back off the coffee and start drinking some tea. I don’t know why. I do dumb sh*t like this. I like caffeine. Like a lot. And I like the taste of coffee. Tea taste like dirty water. Seriously. Don’t write me telling me about tea that tastes good because the only tea that gets me going is tea that is filled with 1/3 cup of honey. So really, sugar water is what gets me going. I’m easy to shop for.

I think we’d be fast friends. You are frickin hilarious!! And i’d make you make us food everyone I came over for COFEE 😉
*everytime
I’ll let you make the food Laura!! Cool? Cool.
I cannot wait to make this – looks delish !
I had a cup of tea at work yesterday because I couldn’t bring myself to have an instant coffee – I believe that “dirty water” is an accurate description.
Thank you Tanya. Thank you.
That’s so crazy- there must be a rash of car theft out in your neck of the woods– my brother had the same thing happen to him a month ago– and found it again.
The enchilada stew looks awesome- I have some salsa verde to go with- bring it on by!!
will be trying this bad boy recipe for sure… FYI made your coffe rub, coca sweet potato pork recipe for super bowl… fantastic, forgot to take a pic 🙁
darn it!!!
This look fantastic! I am definitely putting it in next week’s rotation.
I also go through phases where I do stupid stuff like give up coffee. I always come back to it. Coffee and I, we’re meant to be together.
i feel the exact same way ashley
Thank you I think the same thing about tea. Just can’t do it! And the car story is the funniest thing I’ve heard in a while, sorry to laugh at your friends bad (good?) misfortune!
It’s cool. He’s used to it.
I feel the same wAy about tea. I tried to convince myself otherwise yesterday but i just couldn’t drink it even with honey. Going to try this recipe today.
Hope you like it Mindy!
I thought the same thing about tea, until I gave up coffee. Now tea is one of my favorite things in the world!! (Buuuut, I still miss coffee sometimes.)
You are such a badass Tiff. Like wicked badass. Proud of you 🙂
Strippers are attractive people too
You only speak the truth Serge
So first of all, you are completely right about tea. (Although, I realize I’m a freak because I don’t drink coffee either – I become a shaky, twitchy, knee-bouncing spaz that will never sleep again if I have caffeine.) Tea always feels like a giant letdown. It can smell really good – like apple cider – and then you take a sip and you’re pretty sure it was old dishwater. Blech.
On the other hand, this recipe looks fantastic and I’m adding it to my list for next week! I’m thinking about subbing some El Pato for the tomato sauce, because I love the fire! Yum.
I bet that would be delish Stephanie!! Let me know how it turns out!
Ok, I couldn’t wait and made this today. I substituted El Pato for the tomato sauce and it was fantastic! Definitely has a kick – and I loved every bite. I topped it with avocado and a few black olives. I am so looking forward to the leftovers!
Thanks for another great recipe! 🙂
Glad you liked it Stephanie!
