So the other night, when Laura, Sergio, and I went to club it up, I had this lotion that I put on because I thought it smelled awesome. Like for reals good. It’s that kind of lotion you put on and instantly feel more attractive because you’re oozing smells of lust. That’s how I would explain it at least. So I squeezed on some of the lotion and instantly asked Sergio to tell me how good I smelled….he said I smelled like a stripper. WINNING. Not really.

Speaking of things that smell….my friend Jake got his stolen car back a couple days ago…I don’t think it smells ok in there. Wanna know why? This is why, please read Jake’s facebook status:

“well…3 weeks later, they found my truck. on top of that they got the guys who did it, along with 5 back packs full of meth, 2 hatchets, 1 sword, a bunch of stolen goods….and gay porn and lube.”

You can imagine what the comments were like to that status. I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s not that funny, it’s actually REALLY scary, but still. It’s kinda funny. He’s getting a new truck. They had to clean needles out of it. That’s even more scary. And not funny. Sorry Jake. I’m a bad friend.

I’ve come to a decision about something. Recently, I tried to back off the coffee and start drinking some tea. I don’t know why. I do dumb sh*t like this. I like caffeine. Like a lot. And I like the taste of coffee. Tea taste like dirty water. Seriously. Don’t write me telling me about tea that tastes good because the only tea that gets me going is tea that is filled with 1/3 cup of honey. So really, sugar water is what gets me going.  I’m easy to shop for.

So good and super easy. No excuse not to eat homemade meals. Even better the next day.

I just had my second baby in under 2 years. Before he was born, I prepped a bunch of meals that would be easy to throw in the crock pot after he was born. I made this one today and all I can say is… YUM! It was a bit spicy so i’ll turn the heat down next time and I will add more chicken next time too! But all in all we were very happy with it! keep the yumminess coming- you saved me some stress today!

I don’t usually write reviews or leave comments, but this is HANDS DOWN one of the best crock pot recipes I have EVER made. I am a CrossFitter who tries her best to eat Paleo and am always in search of new recipes. This one is going into the books, and I have already shared with SO MANY friends! YUM!

This is one of the most delicious paleo meals for me to date. For real…I ate it while it was still so hot I burnt my tongue…then kept eating it. The flavors work so well together, big fan! I want this cookbook of yours STAT!

i made this last night, had it for dinner and it was great (except i left out the jalepenos thinking it would be too spicy and it ended up a bit bland). so i had some leftovers for lunch today and threw in some red pepper flakes and a little extra salt. it was phenominal! i put it over cauliflower rice and steamed spinach (i HATE both of these veggies) and it masked them so well. it was great for me as a very very picky eater! recommending to all my friends. thank you!

A couple of my CF buddies at my box are doing the Whole30 and while I am not going gung ho on that (hahah, I typed ho ;D) I am doing my best to eat Clean/Paleo. I threw this yummy goodness in the crockpot last night and was awakened by its delicious goodness this morning. LOVE IT. Can’t wait to dig into it for lunch today because if it was as good as my taste was this morning (and it was 6am so maybe it was just me)..it will be as you put it AMAZEBALLS! Thanks so much Juli for something YUMMY to keep me on the course of eating cleaner. Sign me up for your cookbook next year. (Will you be doing a big signing say at the Tattered Cover for us Colorado folks? :D) Thanks again!

i made this stew with pork loin in stead of chicken last weekend and it turned out delicious! I could have added a second pork lon since there was so much stew left and froze the rest. excellent recipe thanks!

I’ve made this 4 times and I have to say, it is Fiesta de Boca! Party in my mouth! I omit the green bell peppers and add some organic chicken stock because it tends to dry out in my crock pot. I serve it with avocado, cilantro, black olives and fresh lime juice and OMG it is Fiesta de Boca!!! My hubby and kids love it too.
