It may have dumped snow here in Colorado this past weekend, but I see summer peaking her lovely head out in the pink and white floral trees that are blooming, the birds that are singing us awake, and afternoons that stay at a comfortable temperature, comfortable enough to take the dog on a long walk…which Jackson is very happy about. Summer is getting closer and the only thing I’m prepared for is pool life since I bought about a bazillion bikinis for our destination wedding. Problem is, I rarely go to the pool. So I need other items to keep me clothed and feeling funky fresh this summer. Luckily, funky is what it’s all about when it comes to summer trends this year. I have a pretty hard time finding shorts that fit correctly. Even if they do, they ride up when I walk and I’m constantly tugging at them in hopes of not having the good ole’ camel toe. So summer kind of stresses me out. I can’t be wearing jeans ALL summer. This means dresses are my favorite when it comes to summer time. Everyone should have the perfect go-to summer dress that is comfortable and breathable. That way you can dress it up with a cute pair of wedges or dress it down with comfortable flat sandals! I am going to Costa Rica in June….what are your top 2 or 3 suggestions on where to shop for the trip?! It is a beach trip and we will be fishing, going to the spa, hanging at the beach/our pool, going out for a few dinners, and jumping off waterfalls! So I need like every different kind of vacation outfit.

their swimsuits run small, so I always order a medium in bottoms and large in tops!
