Wanna know some of the best advice I ever received? Wait for it. I was told that you can never have too many leather jackets. Obviously I need some better advice givers, but whatever. That person was completely correct. I believe I have 5 or 6 leather jackets hanging in my closet and you know what? I could use a couple more. I wear them all.the.time. And I’m not one to spend much money on a leather jacket so I don’t feel too bad about owning a few more. With Colorado weather, you can wear them in Summer, in Spring, in Fall and nowadays, in Winter. They work for every season and every outfit. Actually, I’ll probably be wearing one today before it snows almost 2 feet tonight. You silly Colorado, you.
Today’s post I’m sharing some of my favorite leather jacket looks as well as some leather jackets you can find on the world wide web! I’m sharing steals, deals and a couple splurges as well. Personally, I would never spend $300 on a leather jacket, but I’m a cheap ass. I’m still sharing those splurges just in case that’s more your style. I did my best at trying to find the most similar looks as possible, but if you find anymore, please feel free to share your finds in the comments!
Wait, before we get going…guess what? I just booked my first bridal boutique appointment to start trying on wedding dresses!! OMGOMGOMG. I’m so damn excited. Especially because it’s not in Colorado. No, I’m not going to Kleinfeld to try to be on tv…I wish…I’m actually going to Portland! My friend and I already had tickets booked for a little girls trip out there so we decided dress shopping was in order as well. Awwwww lawd I can’t wait. I’m planning on taking pictures of all the dress I try on to share on Fashion Fridays. Obviously I won’t be sharing the one I choose until after the wedding, but dress up days must be shared. AHICANTWAIT.

I love those black studded booties!!!!
I’m pretty much in love with leather jackets right now! Just splurged on a soft spectacular black little number from Anthro and also picked up a grey vegan one from Insypre when I was in Denver this fall. Lookin’ good lady!
If you don’t find anything in Portland, I just found mine here in Denver at Blue Bridal downtown, they were great and are a bit smaller so not as popular as some of the more well-known ones. Have so much fun, dress shopping is the best!
How exciting Juli! Love your fashion sense. Also have a great time in Portland. Don’t worry about buying your dress in another city. I was in Germany with my husband (at the time my fiance) and was walking by a boutique and saw my dress. Had never tried any other dresses. I saw it in the window and LOVED it. Brought it back to San Diego and had it fitted/altered. I am still so in love with that dress and can’t wait to give it to my daughter when she gets married. Sniffle, thats a long ways from now!
The only actual bridal salon I went to before my wedding wouldn’t let me take pictures of any of the dresses! Of course, they couldn’t really STOP you from taking a selfie in the changing room mirror, but I wasn’t allowed to have someone else take pictures for me outside of the changing room. I was sad. I hope you end up with a hundred fun pictures!
that’s so weird!! i hope that’s not the case!
Your outfits are adorable and I love the shoes. This is crazy because I haven’t been on your blog in forever, but when I was you would always speak on how you were single and now I read this and you’re getting married!! I’m soo super happy for you. I would always read your blog and think to myself OMG she’s gorgeous and has such a cute personality!!! Luv u!
