As you read this, I am somewhere in the Caribbean at the moment with my husband, sailing and visiting the island of Guadeloupe with TradeWinds. And because of that, I am staying off my computer as much as possible so I can fully unwind and recharge! I can’t wait to share all the details when I’m back.
But that doesn’t mean the blog will be any different this week! I still have all sorts of new posts for you guys, including this delicious fruit salad. Here’s the thing – I don’t eat much fruit. I’ve found that I don’t feel my best when I eat fruit. But that doesn’t mean I will pass up an amazing fruit salad come summertime. It just has to be stepped up a notch for me to pay any sort of attention to it.
And this fruit salad is just that! It bright, it’s colorful and it’s FULL of flavor. Sure, fruit is great on its own, especially when it’s in season. But it’s even better when you cover it with a few simple ingredients and give it a little extra crunch with the poppyseeds. If you’re a fruit person, or even if you’re not, you’re going to love the fruit salad and you may keep going back for seconds…and thirds…and eighths. Is that word? Who cares, I’m in the Caribbean! Kloveyoubye!
