Recently I was introduced to Tan Luxe Wonder Oil by Courtney Kerr of Kerrently! This girl knows her sh*t and I trust her with all things beauty so I bought the self tanning oil right away to test it out. And yep, she was right once again. I LOVE it. It goes on easily, it smells divine, and it doesn’t leave you streaky. It’s fantastic!

Now if you’ve ever used self tanner, you’re used to wearing the glove, smearing it all over your body, and then trying not to touch any surfaces until it dries. Or you might even go to bed in it to help you get as dark as possible while completely ruining your bedding in the meantime. Hi, life story right here. But what I love about the Tan Luxe Wonder Oil is that I can use it as a moisturizer first thing in the morning, it leaves my skin feeling supple from the oils, and I can put on clothes without worry. Yes, it still comes off a bit on white tops, but nothing like my normal self tanner would if I had put clothes on right after applying it. It feels just like you’re wearing some tanning oil like you would when you were a stupid teenager trying to get as tan as possible at all times of the day. Since Denver is so dry, especially in the summer, this oil has been a life saver for my skin. Plus it smells great so I don’t even worry about wearing perfume!

Tan Luxe Wonder Oil is non-toxic, free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates; and it’s also cruelty-free and vegan! The oil is made from a mixture of oils such as jojoba, argan, and raspberry seed oil, plus caffeine to help stimulate blood flow and reduce inflammation. You can use it as much or as little as you want as you build your perfect bronzed color. I’ve been using it a couple times a week to get a little extra glow and absolutely love it.

All you have to do to apply it is the rollerball applicator over the skin then use your hands to rub it in evenly. Be sure to go lighter around your hands and feet or other rough skin because it can tend to stick there and create a darker or more uneven color in those areas. The ONE thing I don’t love about the oil is the packaging. The bottle has black writing on the outside and since you often use the roller then rub the oil with your hands then go back to the roller, the black writing on the bottle begins to slide and can come off on your hands and then body, so be careful of that. I normally wrap a paper towel around the bottle to make sure the black writing doesn’t come off on my hands. I hope that makes sense! Then once everything is rubbed in, be sure to wash your hands right after!

If you’re looking for a summer glow without the wrinkles and possible negative longterm effects, try this Tan Luxe Wonder Oil out. Just FYI, the oil comes in two different colors – light/medium or medium/dark – I bought the medium/dark! I seriously love it and I’m so glad to have it this summer. I’ve never worn shorts more and it’s all because of this oil! Hope you guys like it as much as I do!

    Hi Julie,
This looks like a small quantity for the cost. How long does this last? Thanks!

it depends how often you use it! I’ve had it for over a month, i use it 1-2x per week, and it’s still 3/4 full
