It’s been a minute since I shared a beauty post…I need to step my game up! Most of my time these days is dedicated to writing fitness programs so I haven’t even thought about sharing my latest favorite skincare and beauty products. But that doesn’t mean I’m not constantly testing new things out. I’m still sticking to my 10-step K-Beauty skincare routine, but I also have many Tula favorites that I use every day and every night! So if you’re new to Tula and you don’t know here to start because they have so many different products to choose, their Radiance Routine Kit has some of my favorite products all in one. It comes with their Purifying Face Cleanser, Vitamin C Serum, Daily Sunscreen SPF 30 Gel, Rose Glow & Get It Cooling & Brightening Eye Balm. In my very humble, non-professional opinion, Vitamin C is a MUST in any skincare routine. It helps hydrate, brighten, even out tone and texture, it helps to fade hyperpigmentation, promotes collagen production, and more! It’s the freaking best! I use Vitamin C every day along with a daily sunscreen. I have been using Tula’s Sunscreen Gel ever since it came out because it gives you skin this beautiful glow, so I love using it on my face, hands, and neck. But Tula also just launched their new Mineral Sunscreen. This sunscreen gives your skin a soft matte finish so it’s great underneath makeup since it’s non-greasy and non-comedogenic, which means it won’t clog your pores! It is AWESOME. I freaking love it! And I find that I wear it way more than the Sunscreen Gel whenever I’m wearing makeup.
Another absolute favorite and must-try is their Blurring and Moisturizing Primer. Tula recently revamped their primer so now it is available in 5 different shades. If you are super fair, meaning extremely pale, like me, their First Light or Luna shades are both great options. And if you have a deeper skin tone, the Magic Hour or Cosmos shades are perfect for you! No matter what shade you choose for your skin tone, you’re going to love this primer. I put it on after my sunscreen, right before my makeup. And like all Tula products, it’s loaded with probiotics and specific ingredients like licorice to help even out skin tone and chia seeds to nourish and condition the skin. Pretty cool to have a primer working double duty!
And just launching today – Lip Treatment Balm!! If you struggle with dry lips (hello me, thanks to accutane), Tula just launched 3 shades of their super hydrating lip balm. Each one is loaded with their six blend of prebiotic and probiotic extracts, lip peptides to smooth and plump the lips, and hyaluronic acid plus vitamin E to hydrate and protect. Blushing lemonade is their lightest color and gives you a super natural glossy look while Strawberry Flush gives you more of a pink color and Blackberry Velvet gives you a deeper, more rich color. This lip balm keeps your lips moisturized and it stays on for a good chunk of time, unlike many glosses out there. I’m loving it!
