So I went to Lululemon the other day and bought some new Wunder Unders. It’s pretty much the only thing I workout in because I’m not one to sport shorts. Shorts seem to be either too snug in the waist or too short in the legs, so I stick with Wunder Under capris. Well, I already have 3 pairs so I thought I should invest my gift card in a 4th pair since they are so overly priced. Wellllll, I’m a little peeved. You know how they had this huge issue with some of their pants being see through? Well, mine aren’t TOTALLY see through, but definitely a bit more visible than the other 3 I have. I dislike it. I’m totally still going to wear them, but as a coach at the gym, I feel as though I probably shouldn’t be squatting with these things on. I can’t tell you how many thongs and bare ass cheeks I see on a regular basis because squatting to full depth in spandex usually shows everything. It’s kind of creepy. But also awkward to tell those people I can see everything when they are squatting properly.
This conversation just got weird.
You know what’s so weird? When dogs look like their owners. Or is it when owners look like their dogs? I don’t know. But it happens a lot. That weirds me out. If I ever decide to take care of a living animal, I will make sure it does not look like me. Just FYI.
I hate when I can’t sleep and end up watching HGTV until 2 in the morning while snacking on Cracked Cookie Dough Nut Butter until infomercials come on. I hate infomercials. All I wanted to watch was Love it or List it and you’re trying to sell me some miracle water that rids your body of inflammation. I do not believe you. What I do believe is I turned on HGTV to watch house things. Like how to make a lamp from butchers block. Or how make a chair from an old door. Those are two things I’ve never actually seen, but I’m sure it’s possible. Anything is possible on that network. And I feel like watching HGTV instead of the Food Network keeps me from getting hungry constantly. Except when it’s 2 in the morning and I can’t put my cookie dough butter down. Sh*t that stuff is good.
Oh and before you go, let’s talk about weekend plans. I’m totally going to the farmer’s market this weekend. It’s one of my favorite places to go. Mostly because it has my favorite food truck, Quiero Arepas, and it’s good people watching. Then I think I’ll go to the park, to do more people watching. And get my tan on. Everyone likes a nice bronze. Everyone. That’s all I got. Kbye.

Yeah, I’m always kind of concerned about how much of my butt my trainers can see when I’m squatting, given how much of the girl in front of me’s ass I can see through her capris!!!!
My friend just posted that she’s making a chalk board out of a picture frame, if we weren’t in Australia, then I’d be thinking she’d been watching that channel!!!!
I totally want to look like my dog. I know, it’s weird.
She’s just sooooo cute.
Anyway, your weekend plans sound great! I get to pick up our meat from the farm this weekend…so EXCITED! I’ve been a vegetarian for the past three days :/ #sohangryyyy
I totally agree with you on Lululemon! The quality (and the customer service at the stores) has been on the decline….. Yet, prices don’t seem to get any cheaper!!! I love how the Company fully admits that they had defective wunder unders that were sheer, yet when you try to return the defective crops the response is: You need a bigger size!! Unfortunately, for now, they are the most flattering workout clothes I can find…. Too bad everyone can see your butt!!! Please keep us posted if you find a better Lulu substitute! I would definitely check it out!
Try Lolë clothes !
Yeah, that’s their new line on the sheerness – “Its not our fault our customers are experiencing sheerness. They just are too dumb to choose the right size.” They’ve even instructed their sales staff to approach customers when they are looking at pants and say some version of, “OMG, do you know what I just found out? I thought I was a size 6 but it turns out I’m really a size 8!” No, no you aren’t. You are what size you’ve always been, its just now you have to either settle for sheerness or you have to size up and have non-workout functional pants. I don’t feel comfortable wearing their pants to Crossfit with anything but CRBs because at least the CRBs are long enough to cover my butt.
So far I like the yoga smoga capris I bought but they just don’t have the variety that lulu does.
Definitely return the capris to Lulu and then if you have a Costco near you go buy their workout capris. 100% identical to Lulu (minus the sheer butt) for like 1/5 of the price.
I went to puppy training with my mini schnauzer, who totally looks and acts like me. There was a teeny tiny pug who shivered for an hour. Her trainer was a timid plump girl who didn’t speak ONE word! There was also a young guy who had an Alsatian pup. That pup tried to hump all the other innocent pups, regardless of gender…I avoided that guy…
See through pants are funny. Never tell your clients, it’s entertaining knowing they don’t know 🙂
I don’t look anything like my dog, but we act alike. We’re both weird, ADD, needy, and we both get destructive and eat things we shouldn’t when we don’t get enough exercise.
In other news, your recipes look so good, but every time you post a new dessert/snacky thing it has some new specific ingredient that I can only get by paying muchos dollars to ship it from the US. Is there a substitute for PaleoKrunch? Can I pick any cereal that makes me happy?
Ya you could make my granola instead!
I think many will appreciate that we just had that awkward conversation.
What protein powder do you use? My gut doesn’t seem to like many of them.
You should try an egg white protein powder and see if that helps. Whey doesn’t bother me so I usually use some kind
Lulu released a crazy statement saying that it isn’t THEIR fault about the pants, we’re all just buying sizes too small. Lulu, that shiznit be crazy. You can’t expect us to wear loose pants! I squat to build up my butt and I want nice tight pants to show it off!

When it started to get warm, I bought these Nike spandex shorts, shorter than I’ve ever worn to workout in before. I was squatting and lunging in my living room and I made my husband look at me from every angle to make sure you could see neither booty nor snatch, no matter what I did. And I still felt anxious the first time I wore them.
Also, keeping the bar close to my body whilst wearing shorts is a pain. Literally, the bar scraping against my bare thighs makes me cry. So I mostly wear capris too.
