Two desserts this week. You smart people are excited. You dessert nazis are annoyed. Haters. Well luckily, this dessert has no added sugar in it. So really, it could just be a side dish for all you people who hate desserts and deny yourself happiness. And if you’re doing the sugar detox like me, this is a perfect dessert for you. If you aren’t doing the sugar detox, you are a much happiner person AND are lucky because you can add honey and chocolate chips to make it stupid good. You b*tches.
That paragraph was all over the place.
So this dessert is made from carrots. Obviously. Carrots are slightly sweet. That’s why some genius out there started making cakes from carrots. Have you ever tried my carrot cake cupcakes? HOLY BALLS. Maybe one of my favorite desserts. Maybe. Anywho, on this sugar detox, I can still have carrots. Woot woot. Puree that sh*t. Add some to vanilla to that sh*t. And love that sh*t. That’s what I did. Like a kid in a candy shop. And I hear carrots are good for your sight. I can see through walls now. Fact.
I kinda miss Drew Barrymore in movies. I like her.
Wanna know something gross? I have a scab on my inner thigh from rope climbs. And now it’s peeling off. It’s a blessing in disguise that I can’t fit into jeans because that could get real uncomfortable. I don’t know why I’m telling you this.
Guess what I have for you…A COOKING VIDEO! So exciting!

Awesome recipe! Your legs are so super toned – love it!
Wow, the dance I didn’t expect but is fabulous! I love to dance too and my dream was to be a professional dancer sigh… The recipe will make later. Thanks. I love reading your blogs.
Funny girl ! Making this recipe tonight ! Now maybe if I do crossfit and go on with the SCD diet (which is pretty much like paleo) I could look as awesome as you do.
Of course I’d have to get rid of my face. And cellulite. And stretch marks.
Damn. I’ll just go make the carrot pudding .
Made this for the hubby and kiddos. I added some coconut milk to make it creamier, but they LOVED it!
this is most likely a stupid question: so i’m guessing your fudgy brownies and other similar paleo recipes are a no-go when on a sugar detox? no honey, agave, maple syrup recipes, etc? crap, i need to get on this detox train.
you are correct!
So yummy, even without the sugar. I am totally oing to eat ths for breakfast with somewhere deed coconut and toasted walnuts.
Jeez, sorry for the weird autocorrections… SOME SHREDDED coconut…

I’m just back from vacation, back on nightshifts, and getting caught up on PaleOMG. Thanks for the cooking video, especially the dancing. Just what I needed at 2:45am. Outasight!
I got through my sugar detox with a baked sweet potato and carrot custard, I never tried it with just carrots! It is probably a wiser way to go!
