Today on the podcast I’m talking about burning off my hair, waffle snow days, edible cookie dough (which should be on every corner), and toxic positivity. Plus I talk a little bit about my human design reading with Althea Mara. Check her out here – https://altheamara.com/

I’ve been hesitant to comment since I listened to your podcast on Sunday but decided to. I have been reading your blog for 8 or so years, listening to the podcast since the beginning, follow you on instagram and am a Power sculpt member (Started Month 3, Day 1 today!) After typing that all out it sounds a bit creepy, but really love how honest and motivating and funny you are. However about 18 months or so ago (maybe more, maybe less) I was listening to your podcast and it felt like you were complaining a ton. I ignored it, everyone has a bad day. And then I remember the following week the podcast was fairly negative again and I had to stop listening because it was bumming me out. However your attitude change and positivity over the last year or so has been so amazing and contagious and noticeable. Yes we all have bad days, but 98% of the time you turn it around and thats awesome! When I am feeling a bit blah I always check out your stories because it will instantly make me feel better. This is meant to be a compliment on your progress and all the work you have done on yourself, not a dig. I hope it comes across that way!

thanks Jamie!! i definitely went through a tough slump. If you aren’t in a good place and you have people telling you all day every day that you suck, you’re not good enough, you’re a bad person, etc…you start to believe it. And that’s definitely where I was at. Having a platform makes me an easy target and i let it get me down for quite a while. Not sure what changed in me, but I finally got sick of others telling me who I was and I decided to change that!
