Life has been a bit bananas over here. I’m currently creating my next fitness program, the 6-month Power Sculpt Program, which means I’m spending less time blogging and more time creating the perfect program, purchasing all the equipment to make our basement gym look like a well-lit studio, filming all the videos, and getting everything set up on the back end so the program can launch mid-July. It’s all very exciting, but all this creating means I have a little less creativity to put towards the blog at this time. BUT I will still have plenty of new posts coming up. So today I thought I would simply share some things I think are worthwhile right now. It may be products, it may be experiences, I really have no idea where it might go. I just think these things are worthwhile so I want to talk about them! Hope you love them, too!

First up, the Bean Protocol. I’ve been dealing with some very frustrating skin issues for a while now. After Jackson almost died on us, my hormonal acne went crazy and nothing seemed to get it under control. Then my friend told me about the Bean Protocol and introduced me to Unique Hammond. And after 1 month of cutting out all sugar, caffeine, medication, supplements, and simply eating beans throughout the day, my skin has DRASTICALLY improved. I could not be happier with what I have experienced so far. I plan to share a full blog post about it in the future once my acne is fully under control, but if you want to learn more about it, check out Unique Hammond’s website!

Next up, Poppi! This prebiotic soda is my absolute favorite summer drink. The ingredients are super simple – sparkling water, apple cider vinegar, juice (such as ginger juice, pineapple juice, strawberry juice, etc), cane sugar, and stevia. I think most of their drinks have 15 calories per can and they taste AMAZING! The other day I was to a friends BBQ where everyone is drinking and even though I’m off sugar, I wanted to have something that felt a little more fun, so I had the Poppi Strawberry Lemonade drink and it’s the only sugary drink I want to have for the rest of my life. It’s the best!

We FINALLY got the artwork for our dining room! I purchased two pieces of canvas art back in January and they weren’t delivered until May. And when they were finally delivered, the packages were DESTROYED. Which meant the artwork was completely destroyed. So I sent the art back and asked for a full refund and decided to look for art somewhere else. And then I came across this etsy page with art from Italy. And I quickly found two pieces I couldn’t get enough of and I was able to get both pieces in 2 weeks…from Italy! The original art was coming from Texas. But I think it was meant to be because I smile every single time I look at this art.

I was just introduced to the skincare line Beekman 1802 and it’s become a daily staple in my routine. This brand is very much Schitt’s Creek Rose Apothecary vibes. I love them! The Goat Milk Primer makes your skin luminous and bright, and it has a built-in SPF so you don’t have to layer on more products. And it’s great for keeping your skin moisturized while you wear makeup. I also LOVE Goat Milk Whipped Body Cream because it smells absolutely divine. I’m so glad I found this brand and I can’t wait to try more of their products.

Last but not least, I have TWO pastas I’m absolutely obsessed with. Since so many pasta brands make bean pastas these days, I’ve been eating pasta more than ever because of the bean protocol just to spice things up. And I have two brands I truly adore. First up is Cybele’s Free to Eat Veggie & Lentil Pasta. I’ve been eating this pasta for years now, but it’s officially my best friend during the bean protocol. It has ingredients like green lentils, cauliflower, parsnips, broccoli, beets, and more! I just love that it has added veggies in it. And I also love Ancient Harvest Red Lentil Rotini. The two ingredients in this pasta are lentil flour and quinoa flour, and the noodles really hold up in any pasta dish. Some GF noodles tend to fall apart when mixed into sauces, but not this rotini.
