I made this recipe earlier this week and thought it was delicious — my boyfriend who doesn’t love Asian food also thought it was really good! Thanks for another great recipe!

  9. Thuy says:

Interesting recipe! But can you people please stop misspelling it? It’s bánh mì, the H is after the N.

    1. juli says:

sorry about that, Thuy. I’ve found multiple different spellings online so it’s hard to know what is correct since i don’t speak vietnamese. next time, i recommend saying something like “just wanted to let you know that it’s actually spelled bánh mì” instead of being rude. it really gets you farther in life. have a wonderful day!

  10. KM says:

Hi Juli, loved this recipe! One question, what can I sub for fish sauce? I want my husband to try it but he can’t eat fish sauce. Thanks!

    1. juli says:

there really is no sub for fish sauce, but you could just leave it out! just know that it won’t taste exactly the same but i’m sure it will still be delicious!
