All I’ve been craving in sweet potatoes, nutella, chocolate, and ummmmm more sweet potatoes, in fry form. That’s all I’ve wanted. Thankfully I’ve been eating other stuff, but I don’t know what the hell is going on. No, I’m not pregnant. And no, it’s not that time of the month. You should know that by now if you’ve read my blog regularly. Gross. I’m gross.
I kind of want ice cream.
Ok, enough about food. This blog is a food blog, I shouldn’t be talking about it. Just kidding. Let’s talk about these banana breads. I wanted banana bread the other day and ended up making it without nuts or seeds, which I haven’t done before. I’m not really sure if a coconut is a seed or a fruit, but I don’t really care because my body gets along with coconuts. I’m sure someone will tell me on my blog. That’s usually how I learn stuff.
I got my nails AND toes done yesterday. My feet feel lighter. I’m pretty sure it’s been 7 years since I got a pedicure. SEVEN YEARS. Do you know how many calluses build up in 7 years? While doing CrossFit. And wearing shoes that don’t take very good care of my feet. Either way, my toes look pretty good at this point. I have ugly toes so I need as much help as I can get. I’m so excited to get sandals.
Never once did I think I would say that. My life is so different compared to last year, it’s ridiculous. Last year, I was wearing CrossFit clothes constantly, working out multiple times a day, never taking off my tennis shoes (mostly because they smell terrible), Rx’ing every workout, and rarely taking off my headband. I now get my toes and nails done, suck at workouts, style my hair about 60% of the time, drink bloody marys more often than not, and shop online more than I ever thought I would. ModCloth is doing well off of me. I’m even going shopping for jeans twice in one week after crying in the dressing room last time. But I’m definitely getting jeans this time around. I’m not letting any jeans get me down, like I would have last year. Anyone know a good seamstress in Denver? I think I’m gonna need it.
I just ate sweet potatoes and there is grease on my keyboard. I’m a terrible blogger.

Made these last night and they turned out great! I only had 5 bananas, and some had too much brown so I sub’ed some baked yam I already had since I had just recently made your sweet potato loaf from your cookbook (which I’m really happy about!) so that gave me the idea. They firmed up nicely, are delicious and I like that they have no added sweeteners. I topped mine only with dark chocolate chips since that’s the only way to go! Also, the sweet potato loaf was delish too and a big hit with my non-paleo BF and his 3 kids! Thanks Juli! The cookbook is great!
I love you – seriously. This blog is great and every recipe looks amazing!
I’m only on day 4 of my new Paleo lifestyle – but it instantly clicked with me. I don’t miss the grains – and I don’t mind spending Sunday in the kitchen to prepare meals for the week (well yet anyway). My husband on the other hand isn’t as excited. He’s enjoyed all the paleo food I’ve made so far – but isn’t ready to give up his cereal.
Crossfit on the other hand – is kicking my ass and not flinching at it. Man alive – I didn’t realize how out of shape I am. I am by no means obese (6’2″, 180lbs) but folks who “look” more out of shape than me are running circles around me. I seriously cried after my astoundingly poor performance last night – and am as sore as the dickens today.
But the food I love – and I can already picture a healthier, fitter version of myself, so I’m going to stick to it. Your recipes will certainly help – on the food front anyway.
Congrats on your gift of inspiring others!!
Girl! You are super funny! Great recipes!
Made this last night and it is really awesome! I can’t decide which flavor I like best! I used regular strawberries (not dried) and it kind of turned out with a pudding consistentcy but still tasted wonderful!
ModCloth is the devil!
Oh, and that banana bread looks great!
The banana bread looks great! I’ll definitely try the recipe out in the next week or two. Thanks for sharing!

Yummy. I didn’t have coconut butter, so improvised with almond butter. (Not so much worried about the nut-free.) Also added 1/4 tsp nutmeg and allspice. Crowd pleaser…gluten-free, Paleo, or not! Thanks! 🙂
Hi, you don’t have to post this comment, I just couldn’t figure out how to email you personally, but I found this exact recipe on a website that I’m pretty positive just jacked it from you, photo and all: http://www.paleobreadrecipe.com/banana-bread-recipe/ Hopefully they have your permission…but just in case.

I basically ate all of this recipe by myself in two days. But i am not ashamed because it was delishhh. 🙂
Joe’s Jeans in the Honey cut, or Lucky brand jeans in curvy work wonders for gals with the mesomorph build. No alteration necessary. Also, Gap curvy jeans fit well.
