You guys. I’m stuck. Summer is coming, it’s just around the corner. And my legs don’t fit into shorts. I feel like I run into this problem every year. But I’m right there again, and frustrated about it. I left the mall the other day pretty upset. It just blows to get to a point that you’re comfortable in your own skin, then an article of clothing dictates how you feel. So instead of pouting, I bought skirts. Skirts always fit. My inner thighs may sweat and chafe but at least I fit in skirts. Have you found a certain kind of shorts that fit you? More so, that fit the butt and back of the legs? Help me out hereeeee.

I love scarves. All winter long and all sumer long. That is all.

I absolutely adore this top. It is seriously so flattering on any figure and so incredibly comfortable. But these jeans, these jeans are the greatest. I’ve worn these exact pair but in plum, and since they are little bit more high waisted, the never move. I never have to pull them up or mess with them, they just stay in place, happy as can be.

Back to the shorts point. Here’s one of the skirts I bought in order to not cry over spilled milk. This one is super soft but still keeps everything snug. I wore this outfit all day running errands but by the end of the night, I was over booties so I switched to black flats for a little dinner with some friends. Dress it up, dress it down.

Another skirt! Who needs shorts when you can wear skirts all sumer long? Right? Right! That means I need to find a lot more skirts. Remember how I told you I would show you different ways to wear crop tops? Doing it again! If you’re not looking to show much tummy but still like the crop top look, wear a crop top with a high waisted skirt like this look! You can show as little or as much as you want!

My not so secret to avoid thigh rub is to put a little deodarant on my inner thighs 🙂 I wear a lot more skirts and dresses after I figured that out!

Gurl YES with the shorts issue. Apparently my thighs are like three sizes bigger than my waist, according to these shorts manufacturers. It makes no sense when you remember that so many women (see comments above) have the same issue… blerg. I will have to try some of the brands suggested here. In the meantime, know that you’re not alone, but also and MORE IMPORTANTLY, your body is rocking and you’re absolutely perfect just as you are.

If your thighs don’t fit in the shorts…there is something wrong with the shorts! You have fabulous legs!!

Kohl’s Union Bay shorts in the junior section!! Fit me perfect and we are mid squat cycle at the gym and my thighs show it!

I love Silver brand jeans and shorts! They make a curvy through hip and thigh style that fits my butt and legs which is awesome. As for the chafing, whenever i wear a skirt or short shorts i apply a layer of deoderant to my thighs. I know it sounds weird but the glide beautifully and it elminates any sweating the may occur. Loved all the outfits and let me know if you find the perfect shorts 🙂

My sense of style is so different from yours, but I still love seeing your fashion posts. They’re interesting and realistic – you love dressing up and clothes and accessories, but you wear the same types of pants again and again (just as I do, although mine are different) and you look fabulous every time! It shows the value of having some basics and then mix-and-match accessories.

I’m very curious about wearing that unusual ring – does it fall off all the time? Very interesting!

I think you gotta find those perfect pairs of jeans that fit the best and stick with them! It’s definitely all about mixing and matching! Glad you enjoy the posts!! As for the ring, it doesn’t fall off at all actually!

Exactly why I don’t bother with Jean shorts of any kind. Cloth shorts all day.

Gold Bond Friction Defense!! It looks like a deodorant stick and is great for inner thighs!

I just found the best shorts that are crazy cheap at h&m that fit my huge quads and my smaller hips/waist.
